I came in tonight to discover heating had switched itself on , have turned down thermostat as it felt far too warm and dry. Now on 17. Which will no doubt be too cold

OH cold few weeks ago, I told him it was tough as it was still Sept so he should put some more clothes on :D

Well the CH hasn't come on over the last 2 days. It is set at 18 degs. It always feels colder in our house when it's windy.

It hasn't stopped raining since Sunday here in London and the rain is forecast to continue to the end of week - so I've been using my TD - more shame ashamed_smiley.png Tee Hee :D

Is it wrong to switch CH on at boyfriends house for most of the weekend

And then when back at my home yesterday, snuggle up under a blanket as I think its to early to put the CH on :rotfl:

I got a sheet of coupons through the post from Boots, so have have just been for a "Crazy Shop". Went to the till 6 separate times to extract the maximum amount of points and cash :rotfl: Boots are currently giving away (with a £5 spend) a voucher worth £5 which can be used on their No 7 range - so this makes their cleanser and toner £2.50 and their mascara's and face powder £5.50.

I started this challenge at 1st January. This is how it currently stands:-

Savings made from coupons and points in shops:-

    £265 Boots
    £ 67 Local Hairdresser
    £150 Sainsburys
    £ 25 Body Shop
    £ 8 Next
    £ 21 Homebase
    £536 TOTAL shopping

    Other vouchers used

£36 Airmiles used to save on Eurostar
£27 Free tickets local football club
    £130 Free tickets for Legoland
£1295 Hilton Points used in Paris
    £1488 TOTAL

    GRAND TOTAL £2,024

    Not bad:D

:DThat's fantastic smf, do you ever get funny looks when going till to till?!

I'm looking forward to doing a shop at Body Shop for Xmas, I got one of their 'love your body' cards as a freebie whilst doing a mystery shop.

Luckily my shop has 3 tills in different locations throughout the store. The women on the make-up counter are really helpful and will try every coupon you have, to maximise the number of points you collect. Pharmacy are too busy to notice how many times you come to the till. One women on the main tills is slightly frosty, so I try only to go to her once. I used to feel a bit selfconscious but Boots makes tons of money so what the heck!

The Body Shop card is really good for me too, as my eldest son likes their Tea Tree products (good for teenage spots!).

    Best Wishes
