Eldest son had his ipod nicked in a sports centre changing room
Eldest son cound not live without ipod, so used my £90 worth of nectar points to part pay for a new ipod touch, so with new case (half price) paid £68 for £168 worth of kit :T
Chuffed (well I'm not chuffed that it got stolen but you know what I mean;))
PS since I was shopping in Argos and there was a Boots near, I went and stocked up on more cleanser using the £5 vouchers - went to the till 7 times today :rotfl:0 -

We are now getting tantlizingly close to the £100k barrier - our mortgage stands at £102,488. We will probably get there next month. Soooooo excited:D
Barclays have lowered our montly payment to £950 which means we will need to up our OP to £1500.It's nice to know that if something dreadful happened we would only have to find £950 to cover the mortgage each month.
Best Wishes

Great news - it's always a great feeling when you reach a milestone0

SMF2 really great progress there.
I assume it wasn't worth claiming on insurance for the ipod?0 -

Rubbish news about the ipod but at least you managed to get a good deal to replace it... maybe an even better deal if insurance will payout.
I did a huge stock up shop at Boots a couple of weeks ago only to get home and find vouchers in the post from them - grrr!
Heating still off... athough I'm hardly in at the moment. Out at work all day, either up and moving or visiting friends in the evening and last weekend I was either cleaning or decorating so keeping active and warm. I could see my breath when I woke up this morning though which made me not want to get up, eventually pursuaded myself it'd be warmer if I just got into he shower! I'm trying to hold out till November and a fairly hardy Northerner so might manage it!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Good luck staying off the heating MRN. I've been popping it on when a large cuppa no longer warms me up.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
