We've had our heating on for about a month  I think. Our thermostat is set for 18 degs and the CH came on at the beginning of Octoberish. It is still set at 18 degs. I set it to 19 when I get up (for about an hour) and later on the day I set it to 19 again (for about an hourish) and then reset it to 18 when I go to bed.

Bought some great polo necks from Marks and Spencer to keep me warm. Don't think I've ever bought " in door clothes " with the specific aim of keeping warm:rotfl:

We are now down to £101,576. The regular monthly payment for November gets paid on the 16th. This has been reduced this month from £1450 to £950 by Barclays because of the fall in interest rates. So when this gets paid we will have a look and see what op we need to get below £100k. Hopefully it will be achievable this month. Mr Smf2 has been given a bottle of Taittinger Champagne, so we will be able to celebrate for free in true MSE fashion. smiley_champagne.gif
