Just had a look at our spending spreadsheet. It runs April to April. Year upon year most things seem reasonable but the one thing that has increased a lot is our food bill. This probably is due to the fact that our 2 boys now eat like male adults  but I must have a think and see if I can reduce this. We hardly throw any food out so I'm not sure it's possible.

Anyhoo, I'm going to try and keep to my resolution this year- not to buy any more books :naughty: until I've read the massive pile I already have. Also to buy the minimum amount of clothes.

My use-it-up-personal challenge is still going. My bathroom shelves are now heaving with Christmas booty; beautiful shower gels, bubble bath, body lotion, perfume, candles, etc - now I just have to spend the year "using it up". Now that's the sort of challenge I enjoy bath.gif

    Best Wishes

    Well done.

It really does make a difference and for me provides days out and holidays with little or no cash outlay.

Well done on the Coupons Total! That's impressive.

Mr OP's used his Boots ones on more of his fave moisturiser which is one of his must haves. We are ploughing through lots of nice pressies and free or cheap offer toiletries that we have "carried over" from last year. We are going from January to January now.

Clothes we just need essentials so I've set a low budget for that. Books ditto, we have loads of them too.
