Great news SMF2 :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks everyone. Did have a little drinkie of Cava - very nice too:D
Feel so happy that my eldest has got a place at the school he wanted. I hadn't realised it was playing on my mind so much; funny how we can push things to the back of our mind, isn't it?
I'll log on to our morgage account later. Our monthly mortgage payment should show and we will be down to £92K. I have updated page 1
Mr SMF2 will get his bonus at the end of the month. He will also get some money from some share options he has sold. We will probably have a holiday this year and I want to replace the stairs carpet, get new glass for the front door and possibly get a new carpet for my youngest son's bedroom - so that will put a big dent in that money!
Have a nice day:T0 -

Tbh neither me nor Mr smf2 are shoppers, so it'll be months and months before we get around to sorting these things out. But we do want a holiday, so this will probably get sorted out soonishCan't wait!

I'm just coming up to the end of another year for my personal "Use-it-Up" Challenge. This just involves a spreadsheet and me trying to "use up" clothes, stuff around the house (bubble bath, candles etc) and also books, dvds, etc. This year I have managed to do really well and have "used up" twice as much stuff as previous years.
Anyways, I have found this great thread on the Debt Free board which was mentioned in Martin's Newsletter.

'No More Buying Books Until I've Read the Ones I've Already Bought' Thread
I thought someone else might find it interesting and helpful too.
Best Wishes
