Hi Stuart:hello:
You're right. I've had a think - silly to over do it, as in the long run it'll make little difference * sips wine*;) This wanting to be MF can make one a bit OCD sometimes :eek:0 -

It's all worth it, however, as it's looking like we will be sub £100k by Christmas:D
Just looked at your page 1 and in conjunction with the above that seems like such an amazing achievement. :beer:0 -

Know the feeling SMF2Our outgoings are home improvements (admittedly nice to haves but we've been saying we'll do these for a while) and need to really start on the holiday fund for next year (thank goodness it's an offset mortgage).....and not forgetting all the clubs for the DSs......(this is where I need a whirling pound signs smiley!)
I decided we could live on beans on toast for a few months & wear extra jumpers for warmth.....obviously that got met with total derision so inventive low cost meals (will be ambling off to the OS board/grocery challenge area for hints) and no heating until 1st Nov at the earliest will come into play instead.
Good luck with your number crunching & finding a good fuel deal.

p.s. excellent news re mortgage amount. :T:jMFWin3T2 No 20 - aim £94.9K to £65K:j

Is it going to be your DS's first festivial or is it his first?
Yup first festival. Eldest son and his friends all get their GCSE results on the Thursday (I think) and then they are off to Reading for the weekend. Fingers crossed for good results and dry weather:D I will probably wait until as late as possible (to see what the weather is like) before I buy sleeping bag, tent, etc.
Any hints and tips?0 -

When it comes to clubs "the eek!" sums it up nicely....
I could quite easily live happily on beans on toast, soup, veg, cheap-type meals too:D
1st November is a steep challenge for the CH. I usually end up "giving in" sometime in October...and maybe even September. Still very warm here in London.0 -
