we we found out yesterday that they require no further documents and the case has been passed through to the final review team which currently has a lead time of 48 hours.

Hoping to hear an update/ offer/ rejection on Friday or Monday
My broker said mine is due to be reviewed again by final underwriters on Friday. However, I feel like I've been at this point so many times that I won't hold my breath! Good luck, I hope its good news for you soon 🍀
We've been told the same thing.  although there are still 2 queries with them that we were hoping our broker would sort before Friday so who knows what tomorrow brings!
We’re they queries that require documents?

if it’s just questions, it shouldn’t hold things up
No, they have the documents - it was around my maiden name/married name - they have my marriage cert.  And also they couldn't add up our deposit (some from a gift some in savings), maybe i need to send them a calculator haha.
I'm quite surprised that I've not been asked for updated payslips. I did send in updated ones at time of the application but 6 weeks have passed since then! 😂
I went to measure up windows at my new build today. It feels bittersweet!
My wife was asked to send an updated payslip for July

I can’t wait to get on with measuring windows etc. We’ve decided to wait till we get a decision as we had a negative decision the first time round with a high street lender

I asked my broker if we should get ahead of the game and send off updated payslips before it's being looked at again and they said no it won't be needed. I'll not be happy if this delays us again!

It's been really hard as I've had to pick the kitchen, bathroom and flooring for the house and it's not even 100% done deal yet but developer is keen to be completing for beginning of September.
  • So after telling us they had everything, they want yet another document that’s already been sent as they want each page signed (even though it doesn’t state that anywhere in the document nor when I asked them if there were any conditions when they sent it as I knew it would cause delay.)

    this company are infuriating,

What makes it worse is that it will be another week before we hear anything as we’ll have to go back for waiting for the documents to be reviewed (never believe anything they say if they claim the documents are all satisfactory)

Argh, it's so infuriating isn't it?  It seems like such an inefficient way to work.  We haven't heard anything even though we were told it was due for final review today.

Seems we were both given false hopes. I get the process needs to be thorough but there’s no need for such inefficiencies

I hope you hear some positive news on Monday

I got my offer today. Can't believe it but given its been 6 weeks...
I rang my broker at 4:30 today and he hadn't heard anything and was ready to call them Monday, then 15 mins later he called to say  we have it!
I hope you both get good news on Monday.

Also received offer today after 6 weeks and 2 days since application. Apart from requesting the normal documents during the first week which I submitted, there was no other questions/requests, it was just extremely frustrating it took a further 5 weeks after the documents were satisfied to receive the offer.
