Found it, Did already tap into the highlighted LOUNGE but wouldnt take me there. Got it now, booked Gatwick south Club lounge credit pass and got £12 off.

It wouldnt allow me to book the lounge direct on any particular date. I think i read someone on this thread bought 2 passes and got significantly more off than i have but hey ho all helps, just not my luckiest day.

Yes food and tea/coffee is served free in the lounges and I have used this facility a few times when waiting for long haul early morning flights when you can have breakfast and read the newspaper in peace.

Booked a lounge voucher for our new year escape from our non local airport and yet when I went to redeem it - lounge full - 🤬 only bought it for this trip and Airport is miles away!!

Emmarz, if you do not travel a lot and dont want to keep for another time have you thought about giving it as a gift to someone who is travelling soon? or selling the voucher?

The 2019 code seems to have expired.

When I put MSEGIFT2019 in at the Gatwick South No1 lounge I get the message:

The applied promo code has expired, or is out of the valid time window (flight date between 28/11/2018 08:23 and 25/12/2018 23:59).

Wish i could afford Business class, or any class above economy!.. Blessed though to be able to afford travelling though and booking lounges. Do look for offers always though.

No1 Lounges - AVOID
We used them twice successfully but on our last trip they were doing their best to cut corners - reduced amount of food; certain options just empty bowls (because of a problem with a new supplier); staff were less than helpful and place was generally tatty and less than enticing. Wetherspoons or other restaurant option for us from now on.
