  • Hello, I’m trying to appeal using the template you’ve given. I was wondering what specific steps I need to take in order to get my PCN cancelled? I have put my pcn number and registration onto the website. And selected the second option which states that I was not the driver and the information was incorrect and clicked on the button that says continue to application form. Do I fill in the form using real details? I don’t want to put anything down straight away just in case it was tracked down to me? Or do I fill it in and they have no right to keep my details? Names etc.? Please help. Thanks

You need to send the template exactly as it is, using the KEEPER's details, and start your own thread if you need further help (which you shouldn't with Highview.)

  • Thanks. Do I put other on the selection on the subject reason? And then paste the template on the further information?

You tick the only box that does NOT say who was driving, this has been done to death on lots of Highview threads last year. At NO POINT does a person tick a box saying they were the driver.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi, Can I use this template if parked in a Tesco car park in Scotland? I see lots of this thread seems to be relating to England/Wales

there is a section about SCOTLAND in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum

the scotland advice is to IGNORE

but if you are going to appeal this, use the blue text template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, in post #1

    no naming the driver

Even though in Scotland where we advise ignoring parking tickets, for Highview only, an appeal, using the template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1, can get this killed off for good.

Have a read of this thread.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Sorry, being a bit dense here but can someone tell me where I can print off the template everyone seems to be using for appealing a PCN from Highview/Tesco parking? Thank you

It's in a thread at the top of this board that tells Newbies to read it first in its title.
