Highview PCN overturned on first appeal

Thanks OP. Still works
Copied template from here and merged with standard appeal from newbies thread. Worked a treat. Maybe one of the worst PCNs I've seen in a while..
Number plate wasn't very clear in pictures so Highview went ahead and faked one of them. Would have been an interesting POPLA... shame
* Appealed yesterday and was cancelled today via email.0 -

Do you have a thread of your own on this? Just seems to be missing any context. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If Highview faked a picture, it is the DVLA you must report
this to0 -

Sorry yes I did miss out some vital details..If Highview faked a picture, it is the DVLA you must report
this to
Pretty certain it's fake but not 100%. It's a cropped reg photo in question. They had two images of the vehicle on entry/exit along with two cropped number plate images.
On the exit photo the number plate is not very clear and is blurry. There's no way they cropped the number plate from that image anyway. So I guess Highview took it upon themselves to make their own..
Also the font slightly differs between the two reg photos. Worth reporting to DVLA or would more evidence be needed? Not sure if Highview are previously known for this or not0 -
Report it to the DVLA and to the BPA.0

Sounds to me to be nothing more than the standard way in which a NtK replicates the VRM and shows it in separate boxes underneath the entry and exit photos. See the following links.

Just wanted to quickly post to say THANK YOU. I got a fine through from Highview and used this template to appeal and they have cancelled! Happy Christmas all and keep up the work!0

Thanks for posting to confirm this works, without starting a pointless thread asking us to repeat everything again and again!
I wish people would just do what wins (like you did) and not try to reinvent the wheel/re-write the template, when they get an easy one like a PCN from Britannia, CEL, Smart, Highview, etc.
Merry Christmas!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you to the OP for this post. I sent the wording at the top of the thread to HighView via email on 04/02/18 and received a cancellation confirmation on 09/02/18. This is the easiest parking ticket I've ever appealed!0

Well done, and thanks for telling us about your win!
