Serious Nagging From DWFs

I think sub board would be great there are so many diaries now that peoples requests for help often get lost, can always get round the problem of newbies wondering where they have ended up with a forum announcement on the top!

Option A for me please, I think as long as those of us who are experienced debtors of the parish still go to the DFW board and don't just hang out in the diaries it will be fine.

I'm a recent newbie and not overly imbued with computer literacy, so I lost my own first DFW thread in the throng so quickly that I thought it hadn't posted and so I did it all over again.

I sincerely believe that giving the diaries their own sub-board will make DFW easier to navigate for everybody - but especially stressed out newbies.

I vote for sub board as well as I dont want to lose the Community feeling we have on here. I will still visit both areas but i will be able to see the wood for the trees. And the stickies desperately need tidying up

I think nagging martin is a bad idea (it makes him grumpy ) I also think splitting the board is a bad idea. The diaries are what brings lots of people to this board, and as Z said last night we're likely to end up with newbies posting questions on the diary board because fewer of the seasoned DFWs are here.

Those who are in for the long haul often have the experience to help the newbies, in turn they need to have something which keeps them on track, their diary. So, maybe there are a few diary threads on page 1, is clicking page 2 such a problem? It's a trade off but a valuable one I think.

I know I gained loads of help from the diaries when I first came here, will the newbies miss out on that because they don't know where to look? I don't know, I didn't like the bankruptcy board to be honest, it did create us and them and it did cause problems. I think a diaries sub board will create its own problems too.

Where do people post their challenge threads which are kind of group diaries? Do they go on the diary board too? How about the odd social thread, do they go there too?

Yes sub board for me too
If you have the time, you can sort the threads by how many replies, which will bring up the ones that have had no replies. I do this from time to time
