    Afternoon all

Congratulations to all who've lost weight and well done if you've STS or only gained a little when you were expecting it to be more!

I did have a healthy lunch planned for today but I was left some free samples by a prospective baker this morning including a pasty and a sausage roll so DH and I shared them. They were nice but pricier than the ones I sell already so I'm not sure I'll go for them. Dinner is definitely SW friendly and it will include plenty of speed food which has been in rather short supply for the last few days.

The shop is done enough to open in the morning and we've already got orders for papers. I'll finish cleaning shelves and sort the rest out tomorrow.

Pleased to hear your news Kathryna, that must be a weight off your mind.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday Denise.

Hope your mood lifts soon Lantanna.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Evening all

Well, I'm back, I've made the bed, unpacked the cases and now I've got my feet up with a glass of wine. The journey was good, we spent a night in Burgos and walked round the city then drove to Santander and it was such a beautiful day we went to Sardinero, which is a beach resort not far from the port, and walked along the promenade so I got plenty of body magic. I've got lots to do tomorrow to get the shop prepared for opening on Saturday and we need to go shopping so I need to get on with a meal plan after having had 3 days off.

I haven't had a chance of o catch up with the rest of the thread yer but I couldn't fail to notice your amazing first weigh in bubbs! Well done, that's a great start. :j:T:beer:

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Kathryna for SOTW. :T

Off to catch up with the rest of the thread.

    LL :)
Thankyou :D glad you had a lovely holiday:T

Sorry have been awol for the last week or so - work has been crazy (and my food choices have reflected this...:() But weighed in today and lost 0.5lb - which was a relief more than anything. I was just pleased it wasn't a gain. Now need to be more focussed this week and try and get back into it - really want to try and get back on track. I have 17 weeks until my holiday and I AM going to be slimmer...:p

Well done to everyone who has lost (particularly Bubbs for your fab first week :j, and Kathrynha for getting your Club 10 and your 2½ stone award :T). Hugs to all those who have gained or STS - I know how you're feeling, because I am struggling at the moment... I seem to "draw a line" most days at the moment! :o

    So, today's menu was:

Brunch: Bacon, sausage (SW), scrambled eggs and tinned tomatoes
Dinner: Ham, lettuce, Chinese leaf, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions & pickled gherkins. Banana & Greek yoghurt.
HExB: 1 Salted Caramel hi-fi + 1 Choca Mocha hi-fi bar (first time I have bought hi-fi bars today, and they are lovely!!)
HExA: didn't happen - oops! :undecided

    Tomorrow's menu:

Breakfast: Cheese (HExA) omelette with mushrooms & tomatoes
Lunch: Cauliflower & horseradish soup - last one from the freezer...
Dinner: Cajun chicken with homemade coleslaw & salad. Stewed apple (HExB) with Greek yoghurt.

No syns today (unintentional), and none planned for tomorrow (again, unintentional), but I am not worried about this, because I think I am beginning to realise that I am the sort of person who, when they do have syns, is not good at restricting them to 15 (don't ask about the recent "Creme Egg disaster" - let's just say it was a bad idea to buy in advance for Easter! :EasterBun). However, I don't feel deprived particularly on the days when I don't have any syns because I enjoy what I am eating, so I am going to plod along and enjoy my syn-free days, and then when I go crazy at some point in the week (normally either chocolate or wine at home, or biscuits/cake at work!), I will have the syns in the bank to deal with it! :rotfl:

Morning all. Congratulations to all the losers - some good ones this week!!

I am delighted to report2.5lb off this week. Not sure what I have done differently as I have had a couple of days over the syn allowance (stew and HM dumplings??) but others barely reaching 5. Anyway I'm not analysing it too much as I've not had a regular loss since I started in January but no gains so far.

Thanks for the chart Shala - you do a sterling job!

Not a good week here, period has arrived and brought a 3 lb gain with it.

Work is terrible and my mood is terrible, proper exhausted. Been going home near enough straight to bed every night. Too stressed to even focus on the tv.

    At least its Friday.

Hope everyone is well, I'm sure I'll be back in better form next week. Things do turn round eventually. xx

Well done , but remember to look after yourself too x

Aw Lantanna - try to remember it'll soon pass, hard to think like that I know.

Bubbs  Well done! Some other decent 2/3lb losses coming in too - well done everyone!

Commiserations to the gainers - Piglet I bought in advance for Easter too, and again, and again :wall: - I am reporting a 0.5lb gain this week - pretty lucky it's not more.

I've bitten the bullet and signed up to SW online and ordered a gorgeous Fox & Moon planner. Surely by throwing money at the problem that'll solve it! Seriously though, I've fallen into the habit of estimating syns so the online directory and calculator will really help.

    Four weeks til Manchester weekend.
    Seven weeks til family christening.
    Eight weeks til half marathon.
    Nine weeks til Paris.
    Fourteen weeks til Budapest.

If I can lose 1.75lb a week I'll be under 11 stone by Budapest.

Have a good day all - I'm off for a well overdue haircut and may treat myself to a jacket spud and beans in town.
Thankyou, i know iw ouldnt do it not going to a class thats why i go:o
STS for me this week fed up because I've tried hard this week. Still in range but wanted to be at the very bottom before Easter.
Anyway, today's plan looks like this :-
    He a bob milk
He b 2 hifi light ( new coffee ones are lovely)
B hifi bars after weigh in
L sw chips, egg and beetroot
D chicken fajita lasagne (6) using readymade white sauce. Served with salad.

Glad you are back safe Lois.
Well done Bubbs on that massive loss.
    Thankyou:D

Wow some amazing losses, especially Bubbs

Had a few days off plan trying to get my head sorted.
Got my scan results. Now cancer free which is good, however the operation has done some damage, which hopefully might improve, but in the mean time I am on quite a restrictive diet as my body can't process certain foods properly.
The restrictive diet isn't the most SW friendly, but with a lot of planning, I should be able to cope.
There isn't a single meal I do for my family that isn't going to need altering in some way.

I will still be posting my food plans, but please be aware that they might not totally fit with what is good.

I am going to have to do some things that would normally be classed as tweaks, and therefore have to be syned, but I have asked my SW consultant about this, and if I am replacing free foods with other free foods, having stuff in normal quantities and as part of normal meals, then she says they are not tweaks, so therefore I don't need to syn them. Also I won't be able to have my full amount of Healthy B's.

It is taking me a lot to get my head round all of this, and I am now having to make some changes to foods that are less healthy than what I would previously have chosen, but they are now the healthier option for me.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - Fruit
Lunch - Rice noodles and veg
Dinner - Rice, chicken and veg

    HA - milk
    HB - none

Glad you have had the all clear:T:T think of your health first
