Thanks for the pie recipe wiz . My MIL used to make something similar. Do you make your own braised beef or a tin?
Peas aren't Speed bubbs but they are protein so a bit better for you than just free food like parsnips or potatoes.0 -

Yesterday was going well until I ended up having an easter egg instead of any proper food for tea  What's wrong with me? I joke about it but I actually feel like some sort of addict - I can't help myself, am regretting it as soon as I start, yet can't stop until it's all gone, as well as the bag of mini eggs it came with, and two Fibre One bars for good measure.
I will be better today. I have to be.

I'm the same. Don't want to eat it, regret it as soon as the packet is open, but still eat on till it's finished, and often don't stop there.
All I can suggest is not having the tempting food in the house, but I know that that doesn't solve the problem. Just draw a line under it and start again. HugsZebras rock0 -

Thanks, I'm glad it's not just me. Well there's nothing tempting in the house anymore (!!) so as long as I avoid the shops til Friday I should be OK.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hi all,
busy weekend! apologies in advance and feel free to skip this as it will become an essay I'm sure!
Shala sorry forgot to report is was 1lb on for me last weeknot changed much but I seem to be gaining weight now which is heart breaking!
This weekend was ok sports wise; the people at tennis seem decent enough for the most of it. The hotel we started at was in a service station with an m&s food, harvester, greggs and burger king. Was proud of myself as I didn't eat before going down then got there late and hubs was having a cheeseburger but I chose a prawn salad pot from m&s (still syns but def best of a tough situation). I took strawberries, grapes, heb cereal bars and that was the best decision by far! used the fb group to stay accountable and did pretty well. did have a harvester for tea but chose as wisely as I could (syns for sweet potato fries but I left half the serving) and sour cream.
Sunday littlie and I shared a harvester brekkie then a piece of cake at the venue (it was mothers day and her birthday though) we had a Chinese in the evening as that's what she wanted so syns galore. yesterday we had a day out with her; ate super well all day then we had hot dogs and pizza (I didn't eat pizza) and chocolate cake for tea...but I walked a gazillion steps so hopefully salvaged it as one meal doesn't make a week
got my ASDA shop and I'm definitely happy with it so will do it again in the future.
Today:
breakfast: 40g oats (heb) with 125ml milk (semi skimmed from hea)
snack: orange and grapes
lunch: didn't get chance to make it yesterday or this morning as running late. will buy a jacket potato with beans and a side salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, boiled egg, beetroot)
tea: forgot to lift anything out to defrost but it will be something fairly quick I think. maybe chicken topped with bacon. I'll have mine with baked mushrooms and tomatoes and then lettuce/cucumber/red cabbage etc************************************

That's definitely the way to go tete. Just don't buy it. I've had many a struggle with myself next to the chocolate marzipan in Aldi. I had one bar as a special Christmas treat. So, try no more Easter eggs until it's actually Easter.;)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: cold chicken, fried veg and picklessausage and mash, cauli, broccoli, carrots, peas, onions
Syns: squirt of syrup, sausages (2), gravy0
