  • I weighed in on Friday (24th) - managed to lose half a pound (- 0.5 lb) - gutted with that but at least it is a loss! I have since ate copious amounts of food over the weekend and yesterday - I just can't stop :( Any tips on how to get back on track?? :(

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry for the late check in, but I didn't go to my group as I had booked a holiday....although it wasn't much of a holiday at all, i was just working away for the weekend and very much off plan .

I hate it when I miss group, I really need the incentive of standing on the scales in front of someone to keep me on track and unfortunately it is the start of conference season, so will be working away at least one weekend in April, May and June too.

So my plan for this week is to try and minimise the inevitable gain.

I'm checking in after a very syn filled weekend. I went to the Bierkeller on Sat night and ate sausage and chips with many many beers. To negate this I did walk two miles there and two miles back!

Sunday involved pasta, pudding but thankfully no chocolate.

I need to rein it in this week before Thursday weigh in. I got weighed at the doc today and am +1lb but I have 3 days to turn that around.

    Yesterday:
    B : Cup of Tea
L: Soup (HexB), Melon, FF Yog + berries
D: Paneer (HexA) Byrani with sprouts, mushrooms & broccoli
    Syns. Milk in Tea (3)

    Today
    B : Cup of Tea
L: Soup (HexB), Salad, FF Yog + berries
D: Not sure yet - might have an omelette with veg

Well done to all the losers :)

It's not eating loads that'll stop you losing perthlady but what you eat. My advice is a bit 'same old'. Sit down and write a meal plan, make sure it has at least a third of Speed, do a shop if you have to, don't let yourself be tempted by anything that's not on your list and then stick religiously to the plan to WI. It really works.:A

I've got a busy day tomorrow so today I've got myself organised. All today's dinner is prepped and tomorrow's (Austrian ham hash) is made and in the fridge.:)

:T Well done shiprob on your loss and SOTW!

Thanks for the pie recipe wiz . My MIL used to make something similar. Do you make your own braised beef or a tin?

Peas aren't Speed bubbs but they are protein so a bit better for you than just free food like parsnips or potatoes.
    Thankyou maman
