T - A pancake (Top Boy making them, syns TBC) with bacon and eggs. Fruit to follow.

    HEXA - Milk in drinks

    HEXB - Ryvitas or alpens

good luck lantanna - I just know your gonna be a superstar today!

Right - WI this morning and I am over the moon to report a loss of -1.5lb :)
That sorts out the half lb gain from last week and a little more.
So I am 1 month into SW and a total off of 5.5lb. I am happy with that.

    Today:
    B:muller light and rasberrys
L: massive salad with lots of speed
D: Beef and potato back with lots of speed veg on the side
Snacks: celery sticks and a couple of plums.
HEA: Milk, HEB - still need to work that out - probably scan bran.

SOTW* is.... :T:j:TMONEYSAVERME:T:j:T with a loss of 3.0lbs!!

    Congratulations!

    :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Thanks for being the keeper of the chart and keeping us all in control Shala and well done Moneysaverme for SOTW. :T
We also quite a few of you who made your challenge targets - Arkers, Kathryn, Haylaluru, moneysaverme, toomuchworry and zeni so :T:D:D to all you guys too!

That's brilliant, well done all of you. :j:beer::T
    We lost a total of 14 stone 0.3lb :j:j:j:j]

    Didn't you all do well!

I'm not congratulating myself as my contribution was a very tiny drop in the ocean.

My plan for this week is to have mainly Red days and I started well yesterday. I'm still having plenty of speed fruit and veg like SP but yogurt and banana and other non speed fruits are OK on red but not on SP so I find it more flexible.

As it's Shrove Tuesday we're having banana pancakes at some point today and I know you're supposed to syn cooked/pur!ed banana but I'm not (stamps foot).

Have a good week everyone and good luck to all for the new challenge.

    Hello,
I'm trying so hard to be good but craving sweet things. It doesn't help that it was DD's birthday yesterday and there is yummy cake left over. I'm not hungry, but I just want sugar....

    Yesterday:
    B: nothing (I know that's naughty)

L: Salad (cucumber cherry toms & celery) Cottage cheese, 1/4 melon + Fat free greek yogurt & frozen berries.
D: Chick pea and tuna casserole with courgettes & mushroom
HEXA - Milk in tea HEXB - skipped when I realised ricecakes weren't on the list
Syns : maybe a dash of Oil in the casserole (DH cooked)

    Today:
B: Nothing again - I just cannot face food in the morning
L: Left over casserole from last night with spinach and cherry toms. 1/4 Melon, Fat free greek yogurt & frozen berries.
D: HM Vege Curry with a small sppon of rice & loads of Veg on the side
HEXA - Milk in tea HEXB - Olive Oil in Curry
    Syns: 4 Haribo (2) 3 Pancakes (6) Sugar 2 tsp (2) 10 in total

    Snacks: tba

    Syns: definitely more than 25! (today’s 15 + yesterday’s 10 saved)

I hope you are reading this at home, kathrynha – or are on the point of escaping!

  • Ruthy1604 - have you tried introducing just a tiny breakfast? I find if I don't have breakfast I crave sweet stuff more.... I didn't used to be a breakfast person, I always had hot weetabix before playgroup but then I never ate before school/college/uni (unless it was a gym day but then only a banana) then I worked nights... that made breakfast even more confusing! But I've got into the habit, I started with just "something" so a cup of tea or glass of orange juice (I also used to not have a drink before 4pm so I'm always trying to drink more), then I added a piece of fruit or yogurt, now I feel sick by 11 if I haven't eaten something. Sometimes it is just a cereal bar but as long as it's something its enough to keep me from feeling sick, or wanting biscuits lol

    todays plan...
B- weetabix with sugar for breakfast so thats my HE B and 1 syn sugar
L - left over hidden veg pasta
D - either stuffed peppers or the SW sweet potato curry one of those iceland jobbys
Syns... PANCAKES obviously :D - we figured it's one day a year why not just have proper normal pancakes, it only works out at about 6syns for the flour, milk part of HE A (we even bought semi skimmed so we had more!) and I think I'm going to have one with sugar and one without 1 syn
    so I should finish on 8 syns :) x

    x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....
  • Happy belated birthday tweets hope you had a good one. Love those pics of Poppy, I let out a big awww when I saw them :D

    Good luck for today lantanna

Hope you're doing ok kathryn best of luck with the recovery

Well done MSM on SOTW :T and congrats any losers this week too. Thanks shala for the chart as always

Top Girl plain flour is 1 syn per teaspoon :)

I'm with you Lois on the red days and being allowed bananas and yoghurts still. I do love SP but find it really restrictive. We're not a massive fan of pancakes in our house, but banana ones sound quite yummy

I've gone over syns yesterday and I did on the weekend too so really not expecting much when I jump on the scales tomorrow. If I get a maintain I'll be over the moon.

But today's a green day and will consist of

B - porridge with apple and cinnamon, 2 cuppas
L - BNS soup with ryvita
T - cheese & broccoli pasta with steamed veggies

They're very yummy and very easy - 1 egg beaten well with half a banana, mashed for each one, then cook as for normal pancakes. I haven't managed to flip one yet, I just turn the pan upside down over a dinner plate then slide the pancake back into the pan to cook the other side.

I could make normal pancakes but that would mean buying flour and I don't use it for anything else. The only flour I use is cornflour.

Ruthy - don't beat yourself up for not having breakfast, I know everyone says it's better for weightloss if you do but you can still lose weight and skip breakfast. I would recommend you drink plenty of syn free drinks instead though.
