Saver Upper - I suspect your milky coffee would have used a lot of your HEA but the coffee itself would have been Free as long as it wasn't flavoured and just an ordinary instant coffee or fresh coffee.

Is there a reason you only have 1 slice of bread? Is it from an 800g loaf rather than a 400g one?

You also need to use your syns. They are part of the plan and unless your saving them up to use at the weekend, for example, then your not having enough.

Having looked at my menu plan for today it looks like an SP day:

    B - Toasted BLT
L - quiche - pepper, onion, spring onion, celery, mushrooms & anything else suitable I can find in the fridge! Salad
D - HM SW faggots (1 syn); carrot & swede mash; brocolli, sugar snap, green beans

    HEA1 - milk
    HEB - bread
    HEB2 - ?

    Syns - faggots 1; wine :D

STS for me this week please Shala - so not at my target for the end of the challenge:(. But still no gain at all since I started in January so I shall console myself that I must be doing right at least some of the time! Could I have 10lbs again for the next one please? That would make me the lightest I've been in some years and just 7lbs off target. I'm going for the upper end of healthy BMI - late 50s and the 'face or *rse' dilemma applies!

I had another look at some 'before' photos I saved for further encouragement last night - holiday in 3 weeks and I should get into the next stone bracket by then. I don't usually have a problem whilst on holiday because I'm generally more active than I am day to day, more walking and swimming. Today I plan a trying on session of my holiday clothes which could spur me on a bit!

Good luck to those still to weigh in for the end of the challenge, well done to all losers, keep plodding on everyone.

Hi all, sorry I don't have time to read the last few pages but wanted to report a 3.5lb loss please Shala! That puts me at +1 for the challenge if I've calculated correctly and I must admit that despite a good loss this week it would have been nice to end on zero. Next challenge I deffo want to get under 12st (am 12st 9 now).

Have a lovely bank hol weekend everyone - I'm off for a girls' weekend in Manchester. Not too worried as my danger zone for overeating is when I break into the chocolate etc at home alone. I rein it in when in company :o

:T to tete and chocteddy on your losses.

It's good to reflect and then look forward to the new month. I want to do well in May as I'm away most of June so I want plenty of leeway.

I'm just about right at the low end of my target range but it would be hard to stay there 100%. Anything lower than that and my arms look sad and wrinkly. Anyone seen photos of Macron (contender for French presidency) and his wife and she has that problem. Her arms look awful and she's moving towards lollipop head like Mrs Beckham. Meeow!:D

We didn't eat out last night, more than happy with my SW Bolognese before we went to the theatre. I ate just one jelly baby, otherwise it was a syn free day.

I've had my SW breakfast (HEX porage) so now I need to do my meal plan and shop before deciding on the rest of the day. Back later.:)

Unfortunately I can't excersise because I am disabled. The only excersise I get is when I go to town and walk with my rollator I have my smart watch on and only do about 1000 steps maybe 30 more each day, at home it's only about 850 steps daily. I have an excersise bike in the garage but it's far too cold to be in there I will go back on it when the weather gets warmer. :D:D:D
I hope everyone else has done ok this week big hugs all round :)

When is the new challenge starting? I'd like to put my name down for 12lb please. Changing my weigh in day to Friday too...

B/D - Scrambled egg with cheese and beans on toast (HEXA and HEXB)

T - Chilli, jacket potato and a couple of ciders. Smirnoff passion fruit and lime. Looking at them at 15 syns each as similar products seem to be that, unless one of you lovely ones has the syn value?

Puts me on 45 for the day. Saved up all week for this, plus a bottle of wine tomorrow during the boxing :)

Have checked syn value for you and it's not quite as bad as you thought - 13.5 syns for a 500ml bottle.

Enjoy your syns over the weekend! I know I will.
