Thanks all <3 It's one of those just keep swimming times I guess.
If I don't get a monumental loss next week I'm having a week off! lol!

    I've been on plan 2 times I didn't think I'd be :)
Thursday nights my mum has fish and mushy peas and the handful of chips the chip shop puts in. I don't eat fish and everything else is stupid syns so it's leftovers or noodles for me usually then a few of dads left over chips. Well he's in Milan, and someone left a chicken out of the freezer, so we had jacket potato, chicken and salad :)
And last night I was going to be going to a friends for pizza but her mums in hospital so I had tesco tikka chicken - from the BBQ range - Syn free!! with loads of salad and butternut squash chips, the crinkle cut ones from sainsburys I love so much that they look like frozen chips :)

So I had 2 days of 9 syns when they would have been over :) I've also started posting my food and stuff on instagram which as increased the amount of speed I have with every meal :)

Today has turned into my only iffy day this week, I'm going to my boyfriends, and he is making burgers, which will be homemade and delicious but they will not be 5% fat! But hopefully (if I get up...) I 'll make some potato salad to take with me :) x

Is this fresh chicken coated or something out the freezer please?

That might have a positive effect on your weightloss according to this link. I read about the 'Whoosh' effect on Facebook and it does make some sense, although probably one day rather than a whole week.

    LL :)

That is really interesting Lois and would explain why I've lost more weight in the weeks I've eaten fish shop fish (true, and a puzzle till now).

Definitely worked for me this week! I was holiday for a week and ate out quite a lot and was only really on plan for 2 or 3 days out of a fortnight and lost a pound!

Want to be good and stay on plan this week to try and get back in target range but need 1.5lb but not often lose that amount in one week but definitely going to try.

Thanks! That made for a very interesting read. And definitely true to what I have seen in the past.
I do have a meal outimes planned next week so maybe that can be my day off..... We'll see how frustrated I am come Thursday to see if it's a day or a week lol.

I really want to be good in April, so i dont feel guilty about the week off planned for my birthday in May, have a meal out 28th April trip to Liverpool 1-3 may, then my birthday on the 4th, and a meal out when sis is back from uni on 5th :o
Good job birthdays only happen once a year isn't it ;)

Yesterday was actually better than expected... over on syns- 21 (have been under by 5 the two days before so evens it out a bit :)). The boyfriend got lean mince fr me <3 but white bread, a biscuit and a nibble on his mcflurry and chicken nuggets add up

I've had HE B - weetabix an apple and a carrot cake scan bran so far today (1syn sugar, 1.5 for carrot cake)

Got some asparagus the other day so going to figure something to do with that for lunch then I think it's bbq for dinner as 1. The weather is so lovely, and 2. Our aga has gone out :/

pixtotts - asparagus is lovely dipped in soft boiled eggs instead of bread soldiers. I often do that for breakfast or lunch when it's in season.

    Today's plan

    B - sw fry up
    L - ham salad
D - roast chicken dinner. Not sure what veg yet as haven't got any fresh apart from onions which I'll roast. Need to check what I have in the freezer.

    HEA - milk
HEB - probably ryvita, quark, ham & cucumber
Syns - none planned as went way over yesterday!

I think taking a day off SW each week is far more common than we might think. It's behind the theory that syns don't count on WI day.;) More seriously, there are heaps of people I've met who go to WI and then have a bit of a blow out and then start again next day. We had 2 sisters at our group who lost loads and went out to lunch with their mum every WI day and indulged and someone I worked with who went to an evening WI and then stopped off at he chippy every week.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: veggie omelette and pickled cabbage
D: roast chicken, SW roasties, cauli, broccoli, carrots
    Syns: gravy and weekend wine

I really had an attack of munchies last night. DD bought me a pack of welshcakes with my flowers on Mothers' Day so I ate one (had planned to feed them to DH). I really enjoyed it and will eat the others some time this week.:D

I like asparagus on it's own, just boiled in a little water.

    Today's plan:
Breakfast - oops wasn't up in time
    Lunch - miso noodles
Dinner - Roast pork, roast potatoes and asparagus

    HA - milk
    HB - none
    Syns - miso paste, mustard

After yesterday and today that will be my weekly allowed amount of potatoes used up, but it is worth it for a couple of nice family meals.
