Today, I received the second item I ordered. Delivery note shows the full price (same as the first delivery I received) I'm not sure I'm going to bother calling littlewoods. Is it worth it for 5.00? the phone call will probably cost me a couple of quid.

I have got 2 more deliveries today, which I have not even opened.
The items I have ordered are not what I need to use this next week, month or of importance to me.
I am keeping them intact, along with the paperwork I get with the goods. I always print off a copy of the order confirmation showing the discounted prices. After I get my card statement and it shows the discounts credited back, I will then wear the clothes or use the items.
Should they try to claim the discounts back, then they can see me in court... I have the order confirmation, which shows the price I was expecting to pay - hence I bought the goods at that price !!!

    Rant over :D

The money they are making from the 0870 customer service line willm ore than compensate for any voucher vultures that slip through the net. May well be a fantastic PR scam. I'm impressed by their inventiveness

I think the panic is that littlewoods are then taking back the money 2/3 months down the line, so I wouldnt feel "safe until about January!
  • Hi,
I have today received my statement which clearly lists the promotional discounts, surely they cannot argue with their own paperwork can they?
BTW A huge thankyou to oggyoi and $adz$ for their valuable information. This has to be post of the month for sure. lol
A little thanks now and again would be nice.;)
  • So far I have received 3 items, they have taken out the money for 6 orders, and refunded me 10 pounds for 4 orders. I have made a total of 7 orders.

Just have to wait and see.

BTW, the waterfall cardigan is molting like mad! good that it was only 2 pounds after discounts, i would not have paid 12 pounds for it.

Many thanks to $adz$ and the other contributors who have posted various discount codes in this thread.

Have now received most of my orders and all the accounts show the correct amounts taken, my bank account also confirms the discounts given.

The paperwork with the orders does NOT show the £10 reductions, but there is no need to be concerned about that, just check your online accounts for confirmation of price (or check your bank accounts).

Don't spend time worrying about what they might do months down the line, it really isn't worth it. Should they attempt to withdraw funds from you without your authorisation, just write to them and confirm that the money was taken without permission, don't fall for any rubbish about clauses in the contract - that was completed with the delivery of goods. Offer them the used, soiled goods in return for a complete refund otherwise you'll issue a claim in the county court and it will cost them far more.

You're better off spending your time looking for the next bargains!

Once again, cheers to the OP:beer:

Just got my bank statement showing the debit card payments and the discounts were credited back to the bank account on the same day payments were taken...

instead of ringing the 0845 0870 numbers, there is a freephone number:
    0800 702702 for littlewoods
    0800 123131 littlewoods lx direct
