Morning all, and welcome to newbies and returning Flyladies

Big (((hugs))) to Dizzy. Not a nice situation for any of you; hope your DSD is safe.
Hope your meds are kicking in to control the pain LW. Concentrate on the pleasure of meeting your doggy visitor tomorrow.
(((Hugs))) to YL and anyone else who is feeling the pressure.
    Glad you're OK, bossy.
Sorry if I've missed anything else important, but I've only been skim reading recently and my head has been full of other things.

I finally finished and submitted my essay yesterday afternoon, 20 hours before the deadline - phew! It took me 3 hours just to do the bibliography, final check, formatting, conversion and submission process  Now I can tidy my study.

    Plans for today:
    [STRIKE]- strip our bed[/STRIKE]
    - WM [STRIKE]x1[/STRIKE] x2 x3 x4
[STRIKE]- check flowers and plant lily-of-the-valley in a pot[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- tidy lounge, move jigsaw into downstairs bedroom[/STRIKE]
    - DH has volunteered to clear things away in the kitchen [but is still sitting on his backside 20 min later]
    - sort my desk, everything that's on the keyboard and bed, and the "to do" pile, including filing papers and shelving books.
    - check the contents of a resource box which was returned to us this week before putting it away
    - update a financial file for the church (which involves some recording) then file the relevant papers
    - clean study and our bedroom
    - clean bathroom thoroughly
    - re-make our bed
    - DH to hoover upstairs and stairs
    - make lasagne or cottage pie for tonight (depends on how much lasagne I've got!)
    - clean kitchen
    - dust downstairs
    - clean ensuite
    - DH to hoover downstairs
    - steam mop kitchen floor
    - out 1.15 - 4.00 for a meeting
    - finish tea and bake cakes while the oven is on
    - DS1 and family coming for tea
    - tomorrow DGD1+2 are spending the morning with us - might ask if they want to bring their jimjams when they come this afternoon and stay overnight
    - Tidy and wipe down utility

Right, let's see how much I can achieve!

    Morning!
Tea break time. Had a productive morning so far, second wash in, dusted and vacced all downstairs, decluttered hall, kitchen and LR and collected some dry laundry.

DR is a bit of a bomb site as is the garage / den and I have a Mr A delivery to put away (why do they turn up as soon as I pour a cuppa?). DS is going to help me in 5min with that then we will pop to the pet shop before we run out of supplies.

    Tis rather wild out, though.

I would like to have half an hour later to do my nails so I'll aim for that after lunch. DS wants to go to football but it might be cancelled if the wind doesn't drop. Secretly hoping it is :p;)

  • Hi all x

I didn't sleep well at all again last night but I did do a HHI so it wasn't all bad I suppose. So far today I've
    Washed up
Made a stew for tonight's dinner
Registered for online prescription service with GP since they no longer do repeat over the phone.
    Ordered repeat prescription!
Phoned and booked DDs supermodel experience
Decluttered a cuppa with a friend who dropped in.
3 bags of 'treasures' sorted out. To be gifted one each to my SiLs;)
Updated OH and my diaries and the wall calendar.

Just about to run round with the hoover.

  • FFP most chemists round here offer a collection and delivery service. I ring them and tell them when mil needs supplies and they get the prescription from Drs and deliver the drugs to her. Not sure if you have that service in your area

Not precisely Flying, but I've decluttered two more modules of my online First Aid for Dogs course.

Also sent Mr LW over to Newport Pagnell for some incense sticks, as we'd run out; he was gone a while, suspect he was chatting to the chap who runs the shop. :o

    Hello,

Wind seems to have dropped here, thankfully. Few local incidents, lights out on big roundabout of m'way junction causing havoc with impatient people, and a fence got toppled onto 3 cars (not mine, phew!).

Have got some clothes put away tonight, took DD to gymnastics, DS ditched football so they've both had a bath instead.

Once again had the funniest job of giving the piggy his medicine:rotfl:

Tomorrow is a day at home - more laundry, beds to change, studying and general upstairs tidying.

Think we are due a dry day so might get some washing out!

Hope you're all safe from the storm xx
