Managed to get the bunny hutch cleaned today, and some washing on the line - firmly.
Have taken Am. sale to shop, taken bit of catflap with code on which they sent an envelope for, to post, sourced tat from hobbycraft for Book week crafts...they are making bookmarks (that's original) and aliens (as in Aliens love underpants).

Evening all. Where did the weekend go?
Yesterday just disappeared - I decided that I really had to forgo the house (utility room was yet again on my to do list) and sort out some finance stuff. Then I took DD to riding. It's a 30 mile round trip, so there comes a point when actually it isn't worth coming home before I have to go back again. So I sat in the car in the rain and read my book!
This morning I went out for a jog with lots of walking, through the woods where the snow drops are absolutely beautiful. But I've now got the most gruesome burst blister throbbing on my big toe  Utility room still not done, but kitchen has been sort of tidied (as much as it is going to get anyway) and lunches are sorted for the morning. Next week is busy again, but I'll have the lists in hand!
  • Hi all x

I've had a rough few days. It's been 20 years since my mammy passed away and I'm mentally finding it difficult to get my head round the fact that I've been more years now without her than I had her here with me.

I've been getting most of my dailies done, but not much else. Here's hoping for a better week this week. Off to write a frog list as I've lost mine and update my spending diary.
See you all on the the new thread x

Oh no, poor little chap; hoping the medicine sorts him out; but if he does end up having an op, please post when it's to happen, and I'll muster up as much healing for him as I can - with candles, the whole nine yards.

Aww thank you, I certainly will. His medicine was just analgesia to help with having had it drained, but he is much happier, especially when the kiddies made another cardboard maze :) Hope you managed plenty of feet up time today xx

Much has been achieved today, not sure how but I guess persistent pottering is the answer.

Have also got a good chunk of my essay sorted (and referenced!) although there is still plenty to do - I have heaps of notes and ideas I just need to form the rest into coherent writing...

So I may be rather off-piste on the flappetty flap side of things this week!

Hugs FFP time is such a head-mash xxx

Massive fling boogie and degibbling this week. 45 crates packed up for toxic ex, 10 big black sacks of detris gone, 2 dump runs, 5 sacks to charity shop, 5 crates of sentimental stuff packed up ready to move, kids books moved in crates to slide out from under bed, easier than putting back into wardrobe and easier if they drop the book as they nod off. Boxes are neatly stacked around for "filing" of gibble, including jigsaws, hard toys, lego, soft toys, lets pretend toys, cat toys (yes they get their own box) and a Don't know box and a large number of haven't started yet boxes.

Both log cabins are being de gibbled as the loft was emptied a few months ago and the shed was done to almost empty 2 weeks ago, and what couldnt be thrown immediately was moved to log cabins for safe keeping. Both log cabins have been emptied, hoovered, steam mopped, and the all gibble into "haven't started boxes", so *nothing* is left laying around loose on the floor

Oh yes, storm Doris......Grrrr, clean up will continue this week, but kids sand and water play table is cleaned, reassembled and being used happily by the kids in the garage.

Feline manicure session x 2, puss no 3 refused to cooperate.

Feel so much better for making a start, putting the time on the cooker some music on and getting stuck in.

Now, for a read and a brew :coffee:
The cold never bothered me anyway
