Evening allOMG - this made me feel sick when I read it today as yesterday we had an awful phone call from DH's ex-wife to say my DSD's boss has been arrested for child grooming and other offences against minors...........
DSD has to be interviewed and has to see a psychologist and depending on their assessment, follow-up session(s) might be recommended.
Pleased to hear you have your meds sorted at long last LW. Well done with all the assessments today and good luck for your M&G Friday.
I agree Bossy that you should get your boiler and gas fire checked just to be on the safe side. It may be that you've both a bug - you'd soon know about that though.
I've put the spare room back in order, hoovered the bed-settee, cleared all the cr*p and sucked the whole floor. Bedding all stripped ready for wash.

Oh Dizzy how awful, I had an unpleasant experience with my male boss when I had a holiday job at 16. Hope she is OK. Just the thought of it ..
Hope the Bossy family are OK and its nothing sinister.
Been a tough week and I am still struggling a bit with life but I am plodding on. It will pass. Paid stuff as usual, working from home this aft. Thought about cycling to work but 40mph gusts are forecast so that has sort of put me off the idea! I also really need to go to the shops anyway.
Right, on with the day.0 -

Oh Dizzy my heart goes out to you, as a mother myself I can only imagine how worried you feel. Sadly I have been a victim of abuse , but that's long gone. But as a result I think I may be a little over protective, hopefully not enough to stiffle the kiddies as they grow I hope. But I have always been very "Naggie" for want of a better word about stranger danger, online grooming etc. I send you loads of hugs and love and hope that nothing nasty came of it.

Morning all x
So far nothing off my list, I have decluttered DD to school and OH, DSs 1+2 to court. I was looking for some paperwork earlier and couldn't find it so I've sorted through it all. Binned/ shredded/put past properly, I suppose it's a start.
DS2 has been tasked with sorting out his wardrobes when he gets back, I'm expecting at least 2 black bags for the CS.
Just finishing a cuppa and then I will go and get the beds made and make a start on my list. I'm hoping that OH is up for emptying the cupboard of doom this afternoon as I'm in need of a knitting pattern that's in there.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Hi lovely flyladies and gents
It's me - the name has changed slightly because I was having a mare trying to remember passwords etc.
Just to bring stuff up to date - the last time I posted I think I told people that my father in law had been diagnosed with cancer. Very, very sadly he passed away on the 30th of December after becoming gravely ill over Xmas
Cruelly my mother in law was also diagnosed with cancer five days before Xmas, (you couldn't write it could you)?! It wasn't looking good and we were expecting to hear the worst in January but thankfully we have had some positive news that we desperately needed and mum in law is due to have surgery in the next couple of weeks - it will be major surgery and she'll need a lot of aftercare following it but after her recovery she has life ahead of her. We are so very grateful for this - more than anything I am so happy for my husband and his brother....losing two parents within the same year would have just been downright cruel.
Anyway moving on - sorry about the sad post....it's just been a very tough few months x
I need to crack on with this house - I'm actually excited about it lol!
I hope this is ok but I've made my own list to do as much as I can in the kitchen today .....it's in absolute dire need of sorting!
Dishes
Clear and clean breakfast bar
Clear and clean top of fridge
Clear and clean top of microwave
Clear and clean windowsill 1
Clear and clean windowsill 2
Clear floor
Clear and clean pantry
Clear and clean under stairs
Long list but will be sooo worth it when it's done
Catch you all later loveliesx

Hugs to you LW....hope all goes well x
God Dizzy I hope you're ok lovely?!
Sending hugs to whoever needs/wants them x
Thank you for the list Valli x0 -
Just popping in to offer ((hugs)) to all who need them.
I have managed to strip and remake bed, dust and vacuum bedroom, and even opened the window for half an hour without losing it to the gale that's blowing outside. Grocery shopping done and put away - the freezer is stuffed again, so I really must make an effort at using what we have for the next couple of weeks. The vacuum cleaner is still out and willing me to do the stairs and the hall. It's not that the hall is even very big - I just don't want to do it!! Must sort the coats and shoes out first.
Off to parents' evening later to hear about GCSE options. Waiting to hear from DD's consultant after last week's visit, so will tackle the hall NOW to take my mind off that.0
