Then we would need a sub sub board :rotfl:
Not without 4,000 discussions about it first:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob! Or I'll come round your houses and stamp on all your toys" The ONE, the ONLY, the LEGENDARY Gene Hunt :heart2:0 -
I've got no opinion on whether the board should stay as it is or have a sub-board for DFW diaries, but I think it would be really useful for newbies if those of you who keep diaries included a link to it in your signature. If they like what you've posted in response to them, they can easily find your diary and post more questions to you.
Those of you who don't keep a diary of your own might want to post a link to someone else's diary that you find really useful yourself.
Just a thought - well, several!:)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MoneySavingExpert Forum Team0 -
Unfortunately that would break the rules of the site Tustastic - the people who have done it in the past have had the links removed.
I think the reason is that the forum team only have a limited amount of time to spend checking for spam, referral links etc - if they had to check each link this would take up a lot of time, so they just don't allow them at all, so there's less opportunity to abuse the system (and so resources are not diverted away from the main purpose of the site, ie, moneysaving).
There are a very small number of people who are allowed a link in their sig (there's a list of these somewhere - I forget where), but you have to get special permission from Martin."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
just came in off the night shift and there's still only 4 diaries on the front page0

As someone who doesn't keep an online diary, I'd rather they were in one section, so that I could decide if I wanted to read them today or just look at the 'specialist question' posts. It would save me time as sometimes I only have a few minutes and could scan through several questions on one or two pages much more quickly.:grouphug: Things can only get better.0

Why do they have to be in a different section for you to decide if you want to read them or not - you have already said that you chose not to read them so you already make that descision based on where they are now!!
As elantan keeps pointing out ~ there are not actually many taking up space on the front page so the time involved is minimal!
EDIT to say there is 2 and 1 personal challenge - I really cant see how the moving of them can be justified:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob!
