Money Moral Dilemma: Should I spend someone else's Clubcard vouchers?

no you don't, the vouchers are never checked against the card, but the person who they belong to may be printing them online, so they may already have been spent.0

Any mail delivered to your residential address would, under most circumstances, in itself seem to provide you with a 'reasonable excuse' to open it. I certainly don't check the named recipient on all of the letters I receive prior to opening them. Presumably the OP and many other persons may not do so either!?
Barring a confession, or strong evidence to suggest involvement in a subsequent related fraudulent action, it would be all but impossible to prove that the mail was opened with any intent to 'act to the detriment' of the intended recipient.
I can fully understand the OP's frustration. I further suspect that very little effort would be made to detect and pursue any person who did elect to spend small to moderate quantities of such vouchers in these circumstances. However, it would almost certainly be considered a fraudulent action. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.
If the OP is feeling generous, they could contact Tesco and selected others by the cheapest means possible (ideally by freephone, freepost, or livechat). Advise them that you mistakenly received and opened the recent letter they intended for the previous occupier. Inform them that the intended recipient no longer lives at the address. Finally, make it absolutely clear to them that you have absolutely no intention of subjecting yourself to any further inconvenience in relation to such mail.
If you're instead inclined to move into a life of crime, perhaps you should consider more lucrative activities such drug dealing, gun running or pimping instead?0 -
What else can you do with them? Tesco will not take a hit, they will have gained a new customer. Personally I would just stick them in the bin, club card points are worth virtually nothing on an average shop.0
