If the rightful owner of the points has an online account they could be spending them online. They do not need the paper vouchers as unspent vouchers are listed under their account details.0 -
If you've tried to track the woman down and failed, then you could - if you can be bothered and really want to track them - write to the woman, via Tesco - send your letter to them, explaining the situation and asking them to forward your letter to her - provide a stamped envelope for them to send your letter to her - the letter should let her know you've got lots of mail and her Tesco vouchers and ask her to either contact you or if she doesn't want to, let Tesco know what she wants you to do with her clubcard vouchers.
That way you can be extremely honest and if you hear nothing at all back, then spend them after say, 3 months - as you've given Tesco time to act on your letter and the woman time to respond.
Or you could just spend them anyway and enjoy!
Personally, I think it important to have mail redirected from your old address for at least one year, it costs but if you've forgotten about something, then it can be really worth it. If you cannot be bothered to pay to have your mail redirected, then it's your loss.
This opinion is formed after I had the previous owner of my house refuse to give me her new address when she moved out!! She told me to walk to a house down the road, to give them any mail I got for her! There was loads - I did it but asked the person I was giving the mail to, to ask her to have it forwarded as there was so much. I even got her aged aunt ringing me and complaining for ages, that she hadn't given out her new telephone number.
In the end, I got really fed up with the whole situation and decided enough was enough, I told the person in the house that I wasn't forwarding anymore mail on as I felt I'd done it for long enough - over a year.
Funnily enough, her son got a university place and the letter went astray - I hadn't received it, but they were very upset to find out he was possibly going to lose his place! I did quite enjoy saying, well she should have gone to the effort of having mail forwarded shouldn't she?!!! The son was sure he'd put his old address down on the application - why he was doing this, I don't know. Annoying people to say the least.
So go ahead and use the vouchers as people who either don't leave their new address or are too tight to pay the post office to forward their mail, deserve to lose their tesco vouchers IMO.0 -

You won't be able to use the vouchers as you will need the club card that they are assigned to0

Lots of people have said this, but it's not true. I have just "spent" the clubcard vouchers of a family member (with their consent of course!)Owed @ LBM, including mtg: £85961.15, As of 1st August 2016: £14481.01 :j
September 2016; out of debt and have savings for the saddest reason. RIP Aunty, I'll never forget you:(
Never begin a sentence with "And". Unless you are the Goo Goo Dolls that is.0 -
You do not need the clubcard that's incorrect !
I have spent my vouchers numerous times at self service without my clubcard and it works perfectly fine !
That being said I wouldn't spend someone else's vouchers no !0 -
Sorry but on this one I'd have to say no. The person is probably getting them emailed aswell anyway and using for e-vouchers. But either way, if it was a money off coupon, I'd say it's fine. But tesco clubcard vouchers are different as based on personal shopping habits and points earned.
I'd say get in touch with tesco and let them know that the person doesnt live there so to stop sending them0 -
1. You can redeem tesco vouchers without your card, we've done it when left card at home
2. If after 6 years former tenant has not notified of change of address its their loss
3. Although when a relative contacted the post office to have mail redirected when moving she was told sorry no there's 6 months waiting list!!!!!! You couldn't make it up0
