The more I'm reading the more I think MIL will fold before court and I will be left with no costs!

    That would be annoying!

That is highly possible as MIL get scared many times and pull out of cases.

That is why you must attend the hearing so if they are not in court you win by default .... just as they won against you by default

Two can play the MIL game

And as twhitehousescat says .... they have no defence

Enjoy hurting the monkeys who attempted to harm your credit rating

It would be suicide if they defended ,

  • So,

Attend court for the set aside...

but what about costs? Surely they won't award them at the set aside?

MIL are suicide bonzos at the best of times.

A judge would not appreciate his court being told by MIL that they agree a set aside if the OP buttons his lip
  • you will get back your setaside fee , THEN after NOT signing that paper you go after them HARD

but first you need to know the name of the parking scum that SOLD your details illigally

I will try to word it so you get your costs awarded back at them straight away, if possible, if not then your £255 is claimed back within the counter-claim that I suggest is included. The counter-claim costs £25 or £25 depending upon the sum claimed and that too is claimed back, ultimately, as long as you win (and there is a stack of evidence to assist).

I will reply to your pm. I will also be asking you to email the DVLA and to put in an ICO complaint at the same time, to pave the way.

  • DVLA letter has been sent and they replied saying they would post details of VRM checks as they don't have secure email!

Fingers crossed it gets here soon! No reply from MIL with paperwork!
