Not true. I was offered an 18m contract discounted for 12 months. Didn't take it because it wasn't good enough for me.0 -
On the phone. he said 18 month contract, thats it.
not 12 months. full 18 months.0 -
Hi guys.
About to ask a silly question. A number of people on this thread mention asking Vodafone for their PAC code. Does this code allow you to carry your phone number to a new provider, or is it used for something else?
Thanks.Better in my pocket than theirs!0 -

Obv you can send and reply etc as normal
I was under the impression that the push/pull just goes through your data allowance from the internet so however big an email . obviously not?
Anyway as a reference for people upgrading, I got 600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and a free Tocco Ultra as a new customer. £35 a month but the first 10 months half prive at £17.50 so if I upgrade at 16 months it comes to around £24 a month (over the course of the contract). Thats just as a new customer so anyone looking to get a similar deal as retention should get a lot lower!0 -
I have spoken to the Vodafone promotions department today and got offered the following choices with the Samsung Lucido phone free.
150 minutes
500 texts
18 month contract
£18 per month (£324 over whole of contract)
150 minutes
500 texts
Unlimited internet
18 month contract
£21 per month (£378 over whole of contract)
150 minutes
500 texts
Unlimited internet
24 month contract
£17.50 per month (£420 over whole of contract)
What does everyone think of those offers? I think I may take the bottom offer but may try and get a few more minutes first. What are my chances of improving on this or getting it cheaper do you think? The girl I spoke to was very nice and is going to phone me back on Saturday.
Thanks for your help in advance.0 -
Just spoken to an extremely unhelpful lady who pretty much refused to change my price plan (been on it 2 years - 200netime mins, 500texts for £27) - told me they were 'fixed' and wouldn't even match a 'new customer' plan and just told me that the phones I initially mentioned (Nokia 5800/N85) were out of stock - end of conversation.
I need a new phone as my N73 is playing up - shall I keep on trying or just request my PAC?0 -
