Ohh.:coffee:LW (pretend its a beer) I know you don't do hugs, and even if you did it would probably hurt. Hope the surgery can finally get things sorted on Monday.
Some limited progress. I now have clothes on. And a spare bedroom ready for visitors. I've menu planned for up to the following Tuesday. Will have to be super organised - going away for 2 lots of 6 days and deserting DH. He will be on nights for some of it, so I need to make sure sandwiches are frozen and ready meals there to literally take out and nuke.
So lots of bulk cooking, using up stuff that will go OOD. Etc. To do.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
FBO my dear friend, it's one of the reasons I don't do RL hugs. The last time someone tried that, I screamed in pain! But virtual hugs are always appreciated.FurryBeastOz wrote: »Ohh.:coffee:LW (pretend its a beer) I know you don't do hugs, and even if you did it would probably hurt.
Mr LW, bless his little cotton socks, decided we needed a time out down the pub.
He's been so patient with me while I've been stressed out of my skull; I do feel he deserves better; but what can I do?
I seriously think I have dog withdrawal symptoms. No dogs since the end of December. Next canine guest not til two weeks' time.
I can't wait - the good thing is it's sweet Lizzie, lovely Sprocker Spaniel who has stayed here several times before, and will be a superb guest (as long as I keep the room waste bins empty as she's a bin diver) and will give me a good excuse to go out on the mobility scooter for Walkies.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Virtual hugs for lw dizzy and anyone else who needs them.SPC~12 ot 124

Did a bit of manic flying while BF was out shopping. I like to clean when the house is empty!
I will have to cook tea in a moment, when the shopping has been tidied away, then I will crack on with the kitchen & finish the bathroom. I find it easier to clean the shower while I'm in it, I keep a spray bottle of diluted bleach and a cloth inside the shower and have a quick scrub each time.

More virtual hugs Mrs LW. It's beyond comprehension that you can't get the correct medication - really feel for you.
No flying done today, it was nice and sunny here so I got out in the garden and finished all the little jobs. Both small raised beds weeded and raked over and the sunnier one planted up with the strawberry runners. Lots of dead dried stems got rid of and areas swept. Looks a bit more presentable now!
I've got a lovely patio table and chairs that were made for us many years ago - it's all wrought iron but I'm finding it too heavy. Need to drip feed the idea of getting rid of itto DH I til he thinks it's his idea
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
From my experience LW you know far more about your own body than the docs so you are probably right. Hope things get sorted and the ECG is not too stressful.
Thanks for the support, what would I do without you all? I am doing too much and not getting much help from the rest of the family. It will be easier when Dad has his op and I am not having to take him to hospital appointments.
Up at 7am, straight on with some paid stuff. Worked till 11 then took some cardboard and other rubbish to the recycling place. Tidied the kitchen, dusted and hoovered the bedrooms, changed our bed, polished the shiny bits in the bathroom and washed the floor, hoovered the stairs, sorted lots of washing, made a quiche for tea, tidied the kitchen again and have more or less just sat down.
Didnt really touch the LR, must dust that tomorrow. The house looks better but I still have lots of paid stuff to do.0 -
Dinner scoffed, bathroom & kitchen floor mopped. Kitchen has been swished.

FBO my dear friend, it's one of the reasons I don't do RL hugs. The last time someone tried that, I screamed in pain! But virtual hugs are always appreciated.

He's been so patient with me while I've been stressed out of my skull; I do feel he deserves better; but what can I do?
Have another virtual hug. And of course he deserves you and you deserve him. End of.
Been out with friends in London today so nothing done other than my tracker is showing 14,000 steps.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Hi all,
I've decamped to the parents with the girls, while OH rips half the house to pieces. Minimal flying (mum doesn't let me do anything, I have to wait while she goes out, and stealth clean. Not that it ever needs it, she is super clean and tidy, which is possibly why I'm the total opposite).
Anyway, I'm gathering my energy for when I get back home, I'll need it.
Lw hugs, I hope the beer helped. I would love to lend you my dog, but you are too far away. She isn't dealing well with the changes at home.
piggers hello, good to see you x
YL try and take a tiny bit of time out for yourself x0
