Glad you got your phone back, mrs-mp
Plodding on with my assignment, but I keep having to sleep off the tension headaches. Maybe I'll try flying for half an hour instead - at least the house would be clean then!
No sunshine forecast here, just grey cloud.
Must do WMx2 today.
Off to shower, breakfast, then attack the essay again...
I really want to get out in the garden

DH is in surgery. His operation is being observed by some special people as it is an unusual kind of partial knee replacement. Apparently his surgeon has operated on Harrison Ford!
I've had no internet for a while. Some problem further up the road but seems OK at the moment.
Inset day yesterday for the boys so we went to soft play with a small crowd of chums. Good fun and a I actually had adult conversation :T
However, our half-time is just starting...
Hugs0 -
Hope all goes well for your DH, Dizzy x0

No flying here. Not sure where the week went. Still in pj's on the sofa at 10:30. Where has my GUAG got to?
LW don't ever apologise/feel a fraud/failure or any of those other nasty words. You do what you can. You have achieved more than me this week, and I have NO illness to justify my laziness:D
Hope you get your meds sorted.
So, once I pry myself off the sofa I have a load to do this weekend as DH is working and I have the house to myself. Next weekend we have guests for rugby. Not white glove family (parents) but relatives so the house needs to be tidy and relatively clean. I need to remake the spare bed and do some meal planning/shopping/cooking.
I also need to get to the gym.
Dizzy fingers crossed for DH.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
(((Hugs))) to YL. Everything that others have said already and more. You always seem to do so much.
Hope your DH is out of surgery soon Dizzy.
DW running, WM on for second time. HHI done. Bird feeders filled. Chilly and foggy out but it might cheer up enough to get into the garden later, although really I should be looking back the lists.....Yesterday was a lost day, as DD had a hospital appointment. Hopefully the consultant will get back to us next week and we can breath again until the next one.
Half term is nearly ended here, so the joy of the early morning arguments will start soon. Less of an argument, more of a one way shout iyswim.0 -
Hiya everyone. What a week. Lots on at work for me and OH so late nights back, this weekend is a catch up on all the jobs we have neglected over the last couple of weeks while we had some other important things on. Picked up my no fixed car this morning, and a parcel, WM x 2, DW unloaded and filled and out on again - not one clean mug in the house! So much to do but other important job is to have a rest - both exhausted.
YS - sounds like you are full on busy, can anyone else help with anything at all? I too my ironing to the dry cleaners to be ironed when I felt like that a few weeks back. Not an option for everyone, but it was the little bit of help I needed.0 -
*Sigh* The saga continues. We never did get a call from the surgery yesterday, but Mr LW popped down there this morning anyway..... and came back with a script for....... Capsules. Which I can't take.:wall: In the unlikely event I was able to force myself to swallow them _pale_ they wouldn't stay down for more than a minute.(((Hugs))) to LW, hope you get your meds today.
So back he went..... they can't do anything til Monday. Which is the day I have to go for a wretched ECG thingy, for what reason I don't know.
I am in agony today; I have a working theory, but I'm not a doctor, so I can only guess. My right arm has all the hallmarks of frozen shoulder. From what I can gather from t'internet, this can include something they called "adhesions" where something within the joint sort of sticks to something else. The sort of pain I have in that shoulder is consistent with having had such an adhesion and it being torn free. (Major ouchy!) As I said, it's just conjecture. I did mention this to the GP some time back, but she wasn't interested.
Nor was the other GP I saw the other day for the "arthritis review". I give up. *headdesk* If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
