I am irrationally irritated with myself for spending a whopping £2 today, because it represented pure disorganisation (bottled water) and greed (sweets). Humph. I appreciate it's a tiny sum, but it's the first unplanned/unscheduled spend since LBM.
To Do today:
1. Social media while working. Done! And the people I was working with tagged me in something, which got me a few extra followers.
2. take packed lunch to where I'm working today. Done!
3. work on sock knitting. Not done.
4. BIGGEST CHALLENGE: resist the lure of the lovely big Waitrose next to where I'm working today. See above water/sweets. Managed to resist usual nice bath oils/reed diffusers etc though.
To do this week::
1. Look into changing bank accounts and decide whether we want the hassle (I rather like having all our accounts available under one login, not sure I want to open up three new accounts).
2. Make the statement payment to the barclaycard (it will come out by DD if I don't pay it manually, but I like to get everything lined up as early as possible so it makes my YNAB look prettier). Done!
3. List old unloved handbag on eb@y.
4. Order birthday presents for child 2 and child 3.
5. Plan birthday parties so anything needed can be ordered in.
6. Declutter one room - I feel like the clutter in the house is bothering me again, it's been building up over the past few weeks.Done! Going to attempt to get the kids' room done too by the end of the week.
7. Take lots of photos for social media at an event I'm going to on Thursday.Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.

Just think of how far you have come since LBM for this to bother you! If anything, I would call it a mental victory and it shows just how much your attitude towards money has changed.
It's a well done from me!! :T0 -

Week 4: Day 4
Morning! I have an annoying couple of hours of very unprofitable work ahead (I quoted much too low a price when I was booked, in a moment of insanity, because I was trying to do someone a favour. Must remember to never do this). At least it should be done by lunchtime.
Haven't made any extra debt overypayment for a few days, must spend a bit of time budget wiggling later and see if I can pull something out of the bag.
My mission to improve the health of my business account is a lot slower this month, but it's getting there. I already have all of April's income in there, and I've got £40 of May's (I need £290 to cover essential business expenses and provide my minimum £120 income). I could really do with another decent booking or two in the next couple of weeks, as I'm aware that otherwise my excitement of being a whole month ahead will disappear and I will just be back to being hand to mouth with it again.
To Do today:
1. Social media while working.
2. take snacks to where I'm working this morning.
3. work on sock knitting.
4.NSD
5. Play with budgets this evening and try to make a small debt overpayment
6. spend a little time focusing on the smaller business to get in a little extra income.

Well this morning was as unprofitable as expected, but in brighter news I got a delivery from a supplier this morning with three extra items in, and the supplier told me to keep them for free rather than arrange delivery back to them. The three items (which will be used for work over the next couple of months) will save me about £100 in total. I do love a freebie.Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.

Excellent to get some freebies! Enjoy
Hope you can manage to avoid cut-price work in the future, it's so demoralising knowing you're putting loads of effort into work for virtually nothing.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
