lol ff I have one of those singing trees. Had it a few years now kids love it. Also have a singing fish:rotfl:Just had neighbour in to see if I am ok. GS put rubbish out for me and she was out as well. She said to him he was a good boy helping his gran and he said she does not want to come out because she has a sore face. She thought I had fallen or had some kind of an accident.:rotfl:0

cold but fine here so far. Rain coming later.
Sheils great you are home. Good to find some bargains for yourselves. Do hope everything goes well for your father on Thursday. Keyhole surgery is brilliant.
Rose hope your antibiotics kick in soon. Hope you are having great time with Gas.
Our six year old GS was here yesterday and we decided not to go out as it lured with rain. He wrote all his school Christmas cards to DDs amazement when she came home. He likes to show off his hand writing but kept moaning his hand hurt.
We all ended up having a really enjoyable Indian takeaway.
Thanks for the pics everyone really cheery. Loved the lights one Sheils. we have bought some new lights so hopefully will be straight forward.
Lo Alfie at your buddy (this predictive typing is funny) puddy cat hope it doesn't keep attacking your tree or it will have even less branches.
Hope everyone popping in is OK hugs for those who need one.
No advents for me yesterday will try to catch up today.0 -
Neighbour is baking again and she came down to ask me for a bowl to make an eves pudding for the kids. So will send it home with them. She is going to bring me down a small fruit loaf later (yummy) love it just baked with butter.0

away to one of the family who still have it lol
great of your neighbour to share puddings/fruit loaf
between you :A
lol, tickled me with your predictive typing leanfun
well done to GS writing out all his cards by himself :Tplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all ok - the weather forecast for yesterday was
spot on re rain! Here's hoping the prediction for today is also
spot on - sunshine throughout the day!
lol @ puddy with tree Alfie :rotfl::rotfl:
do you think everyone should get a couple of these & stick them in front lol :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brilliant idea fire**fly! I'll put it on my 'to buy' list.I've not
heard of the 'singing fish'.
I'd better order a few cos puddy cat has started eyeing up my
other Xmas decs now. I think she thought it was her
birthday yesterday - had boxes of decs in my lounge to sort
out ... all packed with lovely tasty/shiny play things just for
her! :rotfl:
Love your pics sheils - lol at your DH sorting out the lights!
That was the other thing that happened to me, not only did
the branch fall off the tree but the lights were all tangled up -
took me ages to sort them out only to find that quite a few
had lost the will to shine!
Well done to your GS writing all his Christmas cards leanfun.
I agree about predictive text - it's so funny. Some of the
things I type on the iPad always magically turn into something
hilarious!
Brilliant to share puds with your lovely neightbour rose -
freshly baked fruit loaf sounds scrumptious.
Well, must get on ... another busy day here. Have a lovely
and lucky Monday all & please take care whatever you have
planned.

Good Morning,
Was a horrible wet day all day yesterday so hopefully stay dry today.
We are going to walk over to my aunt's today to deliver card and have a catch up this morning. I wrapped all the presents yesterday so another job done. I won 3 more Amazon vouchers in the Vouchercodes Instant win game so did really well out of it. Spent 3 of the Caffe Nero vouchers when we were away. They do lovely coffee but expensive so would never go without vouchers. Planning where to spend my Cineworld ones as none handy for here. That is the game finished now though.
Hope there are more wins going to appear for us all.
Loved the ginger cat and singing tree FF. Tried to send it to DD as it reminded me of Angus but cant get it to go as a video. Will show it to her next time she is here.
Your cat sounds like she is having fun Alfie!
Must get on. Good luck everyone.

Just sat down with laptop and a cup of coffee and read about the fire at the Hotel at Cameron House Loch Lomond. Sadly one person died and some in hospital. looking at the picture looks as though they had good evacuation systems. So sad this is an hotel I've always wanted to go to.

Just looked again and another person has died.0 -
Hello all, I've been MIA for ages, as I started a new job that is online, it took up a lot of my time as I got used to it, and there's only so much time you can stare at a screen.
I get sent stuff to review, as I've mentioned, so I tend not to do too many competitions.
However I did cash a £50 surveys cheque recently, that was very welcome.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
