:hello: Good morning everyone


Brrrrrr! Jack Frost has paid me a visit big time .... absolutely
freezing through the night and at the mo!


Thankfully the sun will be showing at some point through the
day!


Still no snow here - apparently we've rain arriving later today,
so quite a mixed bag really!

Morning, we had a hard frost last night, no snow here. I had to scrape the windscreen of the car last night when i left work as it was frozen.Suns out now so hope it defrosts the car before i go out later..lol. i am hoping to put the tree up today (been trying for nearly a week but never got it done) Son said he would help me so may get it done at last.Hope your all well and haven't got too much snow where you are.

it's freezing here again & we still have a lot of snow,
would of thought they'd have had the gritters out for
the side roads & up to the hill but they haven't yet!
don't think i'm going to be able to get up
there today unless sun comes out &
gets melting lol

thanks for the pics FireFly and Alfie.

We were over at DD1's looking after grandson while she went to a Mariah Carey Concert with a neighbour. Neighbour's friend took them and fetched them back. So it was after 12 for us. Indie I though there would be frost on our car then but we were lucky. hard coming out of work into the cold and then having to clear frost off. brrr. Hope you get tree up. I thought our tree was coming yesterday but they changed the date to next week.

Evening peeps. Hope you are all well. No snow here but it has been freezing. It is raining at the moment and temps are due to drop again overnight so probably will have icy pavements and roads in the morning. Hopefully the gritters and council guys can sort them out before I have to go out in the morning.

Hope you're all ok .... it's a wet start to the day here
but thankfully a lot milder!


The harsh frost yesterday eventually killed off my Begonia
plants - still they had a good run! :money: Will have to get
some more seasonal plants now to fill in the gaps!


Hope you managed to put your Christmas tree up yesterday
indie. Puddy cat is still waiting for me to put mine up even
though I promised to do it last weekend! Just haven't had
the time (still decorating etc etc ) but will definitely get it
done this coming weekend.


Hope your tree arrives next week leanfun. I know
exactly what you mean about the emails - there's so many -
before we know it the next lot will be for the sales and then
vacations! :eek:

Brilliant fire**fly - it sounds scrumptious! :j That's another
thing I have to do - put my order in - may have to wait now
until the New Year - I'm so looking forward to feasting on
their wonderful products - I admire your willpower at resisting
opening until nearer Xmas!


Hope the gritters were out your way yesterday doing the side

I went out yesterday lunchtime and the pavements were still
thick with frost and very slippy!




Well must fly - got to have mega comp catch up before I

Morning peeps. Another cold one here. Have not ventured out to shop yet for a newspaper but pavements looking a bit slippy. So will wait till they throw a bit of grit on them. Can hear the little motorised thing that does the pavements so should not be too long. Hope everyone is well and be carefull if venturing out.

been raining here through the night & most of snow is all
washed away now though some of the pavements still look a slippy!

great they're gritting your pavements rose,
ours never did get done yesterday!

Goodness it is freezing out there, have to go out again to pick up GK's from school. So have got soup on for them in the slow cooker. DS will pick them up on way home along with some of my soup no doubt.
