It's really windy here too fire**fly and very nippy. We meant to be getting snow back end of tomorrow. I bought some warmer quilts from the Boston duvet company that had an offer on with mse and without thinking I've bought 5 quilts instead of 4 thinking there's 5 of us, I forgot I share a bed with DH! They are really warm and cosy though.

Sheils, it used to be a bursery when I started nursing then they stopped it apparently. Hopefully it will pass quickly then she will be working soon

Good luck with your decorating too Alfie and hope you get your tree up soon I'm getting my new fireplace in first but DH is cracking on with it this time thankfully!

We ended up with sunshine yesterday in the end but it was
still fairly chilly. Brrrrrr.

Yesterday I managed to have a bit of a tidy up and have finally
got room to put my tree up. Although .....

Well have woken up to a snowy scene - not like my picture but there is some! Hopefully have a nice view of snowy hills when it gets light.
I have had to cancel our trip to Chester on Sunday though, it looks like they are going to be seriously hit with snow the next few days. Luckily it was a cancellable hotel stay. Should be able to make Southport and Blackpool though. DH had been wanting to cross on the new Mersey Gateway bridge though as it is his home area and wanted to use it. He will have to wait now though.
At least DD won't have to drive in the snow today as it will be worse when you leave the coast here. She got an A for her placement so is over the moon although I think she put a huge effort into it. (23/24 score)
Anyway, Vouchercodes paid out all my Argos, Amazon and Nero vouchers so just the Cineworld ones to come now. That cheered me up!

Had to laugh at you buying 5 duvets wingo!

Must get our tree up too Alfie. DD was moaning when she was up for dinner on Tuesday. She usually helps DH with the ceiling ones as she is about 5ft 9" so more help than me.

Must get on. Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Sheils sorry you had to cancel trip. There will be another time but disappointing. Well done to your DD she must have put a lot of work in.

Do hope she is enjoying college this year. Hope you DB is on the mend.

Sun is shinning here but its cold brr. Take care everyone with snow. I find snow ok its the ice that follows makes going out difficult.

Oh well done sheils had no idea about that game will have a look. I do love those type of comps. Pants to the cancelled trip though!

Hope all are well, I am trucking on with housework and a few decs up..and attempting to get eldest ds to finish an Art award before Jan ..I think he needs a gentle kick up the bottom!
