Well done on hamper win ff. Was online earlier on QVC. Just spent a fortune on Molton Brown. Some for me. I love it and some to put in to others Christmas presents. Also had a bit of a spending spree on Amazon which will be delivered on Sunday. So must give my debit card a rest now. Turkey to be collected on Sunday and flowers for cemetry. I am heading in to town on Friday to get the few bits I have still to get then down to M & S for a few things from the food hall. Must remember and buy myself a bottle of gin as it will be needed when bank statement drops through the door lol.

Puppies’ Christmas

It’s the day before Christmas
And all through the house
The puppies are squeaking
An old rubber mouse.

The wreath which had merrily
Hung on the door
Is scattered in pieces
All over the floor.

The stockings that hung
In a neat little row
Now boast a hole in
Each one of the toes.

The tree was subjected
To bright-eyed whims,
And now, although splendid,
It’s missing some limbs.

I catch them and hold them.
“Be good”, I insist.
They lick me, then run off
To see what they’ve missed.

And now as I watch them
The thought comes to me,
That their’s is the spirit
That Christmas should be.

Should children and puppies
Yet show us the way,
And teach us the joy
That should come with this day?

Could they bring the message
That’s written above,
And tell us that, most of all
Christmas is love.

Morning everyone, well done on the wins this week. I haven't really entered much this month as been busy at work.Got today off and back tomorrow. But am taking 25th and 26th off. Off food shopping with my nephew soon,got all the meats for us both so better remember to take it with me or they won't get any,lol. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Afternoon everyone. Had a busy morning sorting out presents and doing housework. Had an e/mail from Amazon order is out so should be here by Saturday and not Sunday. Got my list done of the odds and ends I need to get tomorrow. Also having GK's tomorrow night so that DS and DIL can go out for a meal with their friends. They also asked if I would make them a dumpling as no one is that keen on Christmas Pudding but love my dumpling. So will get kids to help with mixing and filling the bowl. Hope everyone is well and organised.
