Morning peeps. Another mild one here. Nipped over to shop for milk and it is not that cold. So no slippy pavements today. Although have to say pavement gritter is out regularly but it on seems to do the middle and the edges get missed. In saying that around me they are quite wide. Hope I find everyone well. Good luck with comps today.

    Good Afternoon,

Been a lovely day here! Going to rain all day tomorrow though I think. It is really mild too.
Have had a busy day as DS2 &3 have managed to organise a trip down tomorrow and staying the night too. Had to go and buy yet more food and get the beds organised.
Will be lovely to see them just before Xmas.

well done on the win Firefly.

Welcome Chrisderrer good luck with the comp.

Hope you had a good evening last night Sheils. Enjoy the visit from your sons. Great they are able to come before Christmas.nnwill be thinking of your father tomorrow.

Great you are a lot better Rose.

Well Christmas tree arrived yesterday. We left it in hall overnight and neighbour helped us stand it in a pot. Alfie our buddy no buddy would have it over very quickly. Have to say its not very secure still we will have to see what we can do with it so the GKs don't knock it over.n there were lots of pine needles in the hall. lo I think its back to the artificial one next year but it does look grand.

    Very mild here today.

Take care everyone and Good Luck

Sorry folks, forgot to say, yes we had a lovely time with DD and her BF last night.
Thanks everyone re dad, he went into hospital today and op tomorrow. Shame he will miss seeing the boys.

Your tree sounds great leanfun, real ones are lovely but we stick to artificial ones now. Stopped having real ones when the kids were born.

  • Hi mcculloch Well done on the £50 surveys , just got one myself , putting it towards debt. What trial sites do you use? I used to do bzzagent but t's been ages! Now I just apply for sample freebies. xx

Sheils hope you had a lovely dinner with dd and her partner, have been doing the same here re-the freezer, trying to keep food bill lower, not going to go over board with food either, just can't really afford it , we do have £60 on coop membership card that we spent on party food and some wine , lots of odd and ends eating up , stirfrys and burrito wraps are perfect for odds and ends I've found. Managed to get away with a half the cost shop this week yay!
Will your dad be out for christmas? Fingers crossed, hope he has a quick recovery xx
Well done on the hamper win firefly!! Awesome xx I wonder why you got sent two books ..where they the same? If so most odd lol.

Had some nice wins myself , some skin care for psorisis by la proichy (sp) , a book (even though I promised I would self ban from entering opps) Cath kidston mug and loose tea (which is yum!) and today A suprise win of some expensive hair stuff with no note or anything , then I got an email 2 hours after saying I had won said hair stuff and it would be in the post lol. Best thing is , it's for thickening hair and I have the most finest fall outy hair there is.

Anyway have a lovely evening, I am off to wash up quickly and then an evening of knitting and catching up on Fortitude show as eldest has gone to see starwars with dad using my meercat code. Bliss.

    Be lucky all xxx
