Just to let everyone who wished my dad well that his operation was cancelled at the last minute today as the operation before him was complicated and over ran. He is being rebooked in to January which is upsetting for us all.

Sorry to hear your dads op has been delayed shiels. I am up with the lark this morning as I fell asleep watching tv last night. So wide awake now. Got a busy day ahead so hopefully I have enough energy later. DS is bringing fish and chips for tea tonight so no cooking for me and GK's. They want to go to the fair at Strathclyde Park tonight so hopefully weather stays fine. Think I will treat myself to a large gin and tonic once they are in bed. Antibiotics will finish this morning so should be ok. Looks pretty mild outside so fingers crossed. Hope everyone is well.

Seems mild out here too.

Forgot to say we now have an Apple ID and pass word. It took three weeks from when we eventually got through and start the process. Yesterday Apple Store had no appointments to see an expert about iPad but we now have an appointment for next week. Cant wait to be back on iPad. Fingers hurting
with laptop.

Like you Firefly just a few local things to pick up. Im off out soon.

Rose enjoy your GKS today hope weather keeps fine for you. We have GS here tonight and DS is coming up for Christmas.

Afternoon peeps. Goodness am I glad to be home. The shops are manic. Managed to get all the bits and bobs I had to get. Also bought myself a nice top for Christmas day. Gk's will be here in a few hours so having a cuppa and some time to relax. Missed an Amazon delivery that was supposed to come tomorrow and as yet not been able to get through to delivery office so may have to head down there tomorrow.:mad:

so managed to get what I wanted hope you did too,

gosh rose, shops sound very busy were you are,
was told dinner time today from a neighbour
who went into town near us it was also very busy,
am glad I get orders online & just bits & bobs from
local shop,
can't be done now days with struggling to carry shopping
home & dodging the crowds

Morning peeps. Still not got delivery sorted but DS is going to take me to delivery office when he picks up GK's. Hopefully will not miss the other delivery when I am down there. As it is coming in two parcels. My old postie used to leave things with a neighbour but now because of so many things being reported as not delivered/stolen if postie cannot get it through the letter box he does not leave it. Kiddywinks want scrambled egg with toast this morning something I have not had for a long while so I am having some as well along with porridge. So two course breakfast this morning. Kids eat porridge here but not at home they say it is like cardboard if mum and dad make it. Hope everyone is well.
