Brrrrr! Another very chilly start to the day here, got a feeling
Jack Frost has been visiting but still dark at the mo so unable
to tell!

I'm still chuckling about your story of the 6' real Christmas
tree and not being able to fit it on the bus leanfun! :rotfl:


Pleased you're ok after the iron incident! :eek: I had a similar
thing happen years ago with my iron going out with the
biggest bang ever - made me jump!

Cold and frosty here and I can see snow on some hills far away.
See some places have got heavy snow, mainly in the east I think.
Been worrying this week as DD has been travelling early morning and late at night. First time she has had to defrost car and drive in icy weather. This will be her last day this week and her bf gets back from his course tonight too. He had to borrow a car from the Fire brigade so she could use his.

Sounds like everyone's iron goes bang when they die. Remember getting a fright too and the trip switch went off .
Hoping no more bad news today and things continue to get better for our family and friends.

Morning all. Woke up to sun here but its very cold.

Sheils great to hear your feeling a bit better. Understand how you feel about DDs journey to work in bad conditions. Congratulations on beer win and yes they go well with your other win.

Well DH went out and bought a new iron and it stood on ironing board with ironing waiting all day yesterday and is still there. I think I had delayed shock and just couldn't face putting new one on.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and good luck for end of month.

Hi everyone, very cold here now and can't seem to get warm. Have had a terrible cold all week but on the mend now, apart from passing it on to hubby.
Well done on the wins lately.

I have won a coat £400 from Grace & Oliver and was able to choose which one I wanted so got a nice navy on. It came today in a big box and in its own coathanger jacket to keep it nice. Very posh, high days and holidays I think. Just going to DM OP.

Hope you are feeling more chippa Sheils and things are improving your end.

Firefly snow only lasted for a very fleeting time here. Lucky as today we picked Gs up from school. Do take care tomorrow in case its icy.
