Just lost post try again....
Scrolling through this page pics really cheery thanks all.
Firefly started really dark and dull here very wintery.
Alfie thanks for the links. at home we we only had Christmas decorations and tree for 12 days of Christmas. we did the same with our children only put them up when school broke up.
Sheils hope detergent works if any one does come along. Don't worry what it looks like.
Indie hope you had a restful day off. expect its hectic at work.
We have GS here overnight. He only woke up after 8. Has had his morning drink and now DH is on breakfast duty.
Well first two days of advents over I have dipped in and out.
I had a win on TW of some push chair lights. I thought Id won a pushchair at first and thought I have to be more careful what I go in for. These will be useful for DD1 as GD still comes home in pushchair. I also had some perfume samples for Fantasy I think. Don't recall going in for them os nice surprise.
DS has had problems with the bus not stopping in the village in the dark he bought a reflector jacket. The pushchair lights are a great idea as cars would be able to see it
Managed to use new iron yesterday and caught up with the ironing in between.
Good luck to everyone with advents.0 -
Who is missing the Haggis Hunt, don't know how we used to fit it in with all the advent competitions but miss the scenery and people watching. Good Luck everyoneSilver Surfer, Always Smiling

Been another beautiful day here - can't believe it is December (apart from the Xmas decorations everywhere and the Advents)
Have got our bedding out and it is drying away in the sunshine. Should be away somewhere!
Had to laugh at you winning pushchair lights leanfun - well done.
DH is outside moving more branches about. He can't take full credit for the idea as we had someone round from the police after our burglary and he made suggestions of having "natural obstructions" as we didn't want to put a fence up in middle of lawn.
Hope everyone is getting on well with all the comps and advents. Think I have mainly sorted out the ones I want to enter now although will keep checking the over £100 thread.

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well on the start of a new week and, dare I
say it, another step closer to Christmas! :rudolf:I had a win on TW of some push chair lights. I thought Id won a pushchair at first and thought I have to be more careful what I go in for. Big congrats on winning pushchair lights leanfun - didn't
even realize they existed but what a brilliant idea! Hats off to
whoever first thought about them. :T :j Lovely receiving
surprise perfume samples too.
You've just reminded me - I have an ever growing pile
of ironing to do here so I'd best get on with it at some point.
As usual - the ironing is always one of the last chores on my
to do list.
I'm still dipping in and out of the Advents. Lol - I can also
remember the Haggis Hunt BenhamsLC - I used to love
the 'scenery/people watching' too though doubt I would have
the time to do it now! :rotfl:
Well I'd best get on - got loads to do today including comp
catch up!
Have a lovely and lucky day all - take care.

Thanks for pics Alfie. Yes I dipped in and out of comping.
Sheila we laughed too about pushchair lights. They apparently go on each wheel.
Doesn't seem so cold here today. Need to crack on with housework.
Take care and good luck everyone.0 -
Good Morning.
Lovely moon overnight,it was a super moon and was nearer to the earth than usual.I was watching it early this morning and sure i saw the man on the moon..lol. I have 2 days off now and hopefully catch up with the advents. I have done a few but not really been through them yet.
I hope you all have a lucky week.0 -
There was a huge angry cloud a little while ago but the sun is breaking through again. Not even got any washing to do today and my ironing is done too! Amazing how much I get done when I'm not galivanting.
Looked out at the moon last night indie but it just looked normal.
Remember arriving back at Manchester Airport at night and being driven back to our car and this huge moon looked like it was just in front of us.
It was quite scary actually and we had never heard of a super moon before.
Well no wins to report, anyone else?
Good luck to all.
