:hello: Good morning everyone
Wishing you all a very happy December and many Advent
wins!
No snow here but still brrrrr! It's dark at the mo so I can't
see if Jack Frost has paid me a visit.
Please be careful when venturing out today fire**fly to build
Mr Snowman! Remember to wrap up warmly!:rotfl:
 Hi sylv - so sorry to hear that you've had the dreaded
cold but pleased you're feeling a bit better now. Many congrats
on your brilliant win - the coat sounds absolutely gorgeous! :T :j
Have a lovely day all and please take care whatever you have
planned.

Good Morning,
Not had a good start with advents - most of the ones I wanted to enter and book marked haven't opened yet or aren't working properly! I woke early and thought I would get up and make a start, usually just lie still when it is cold. Will have a look at main board now.
Well done on the coat win Sylvia and hope DH and you are better soon.
Thanks Alfie and good luck to you too.
Hope the snow isn't too bad FF and glad yours vanished leanfun. I'm not a fan although I love seeing it on the hills when we travel about. I could see some yesterday far in the distant hills (close enough)
Off to see what is open.

on the grass but not as much as yesterday,
glad your snow has gone for now leanfun x
lol, love the snowman/lady pic Alfie :rotfl:
& loving your fairy pic sheils
doesn't sound a very good start to the advents sheils if half of
them aren't working properly
still haven't decided here which ones i'm going for!
have a lovely day all & keep warm,
lots of good luck for December all
xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Thanks for the pics this morning. Made me smile.
Sheils snap with you. I had a look at the main board then had very little luck finding the comps I wanted on Advents just decided to go back to main board.
Cold here but no snow.
Good luck with what we do manage to do of the advents.
Take care and keep warm.0 -
Brrrr! Its so cold here today, DH fell taking the dog out, it must have been black ice. He's OK though just landed on his bottom so plenty of padding LOL..
No snow here yet but Sister has it in Hartlepool I think and DD in Durham.
Take care when feeding the birds firefly and watch you don't slip.
Just off to look at the Advents.
Good luck everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all ok. Sorry to hear about your DH taking a
fall while walking out with the doggie sylv. Black ice is
always lethal - brilliant to hear that it was his well padded
bottom that worked as a shock absorber. :T
We had a pretty good weather day yesterday in the end and
sun was shining away for a good part of it.
I managed to get out and potter around my garden for a
couple of hours in the morning and got a few jobs sorted
before winter really sets in.
Many thanks for posting the lucky Buddha fire**fly - I've
given him a rub for good health and good luck.
I've sort of been dipping in and out of the Advents - not
doing many this year - just the odd one now and again that
takes my fancy. :rudolf:
Have a lovely and lucky Saturday all and please take care
whatever you have planned. Stay warm.

it this morning ((hugs)) for him x
I dug out the grippers the other day & put them
on just in case & still leaving them on even for
just in the garden!
anyone had their 1st Christmas card yet ? lol,
had our 1st one yesterday
well, after yesterdays manic day with comps board
am hoping it's a bit slower today lol though
somehow don't think it will be :rotfl:
doing the same as you Alfie & just dipping in some
of the advents too much too many :D
have a great day all & keep safe :xmassmile

Weather been quite nice here I must admit, been getting walks and even getting the washing dry. Forecast says the sun won't be out until about 11am today though.
Enjoyed the Advents yesterday - once they all opened and were working ok! Off to look again today. Expect the novelty will wear off soon though.
Glad you got into your garden yesterday Alfie. After all our clear up DH is creating obstructions in our garden with the prickliest branches incase burglers want to go round our back again. Just when it was looking tidy! We are off on the 10th for a few days so probably good idea though.
Hope Fred is ok today Sylvia.
No cards yet FF. Must get ours written this weekend and post the ones to down south next week as they always seem to get held up.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - good luck.

Morning everyone,so many advents so little time..lol. Like you sheils and ff I thought i would do a few before i went to work yesterday but they were not open. I did do some last night but was so tired gave up in the end. I have today off so can do a few more.
Hope you are all lucky with them.0 -
:hello: Good morning & happy Advent Sunday to all!
I hope you're all well on this glorious day and not getting
frazzled with the 'Advents'!
Must admit I ended up exhausted yesterday trawling through
them all just looking for my usual comps to enter.
Think it's a brilliant idea that your DH has come up with sheils re
using the prickliest of branches to deter burglars from going
round the back again. :T :rotfl: Don't worry what it looks like -
just so long as it keeps your place safe is the most important
thing.
You beat me fire**fly on receiving the first Xmas card ... I got
my first one yesterday - from the same relative - regular as
clockwork every year! :xmassmile
It's 'Tree Dressing Day' today - very interesting link here:
https://www.commonground.org.uk/tree-dressing-day/
Tree dressing, in the first week of December, is based on many old
customs from all over the world and at different times of the year.
Tree Dressing Day falls on the first weekend of December. It was
initiated by Common Ground in 1990 and has grown to become
much more than an expression of a love for trees. It is a chance
for the whole community to gather and celebrate the leafy friends
we all have in common. It’s also a chance for communities to
reflect on the social and cultural history of their local area, and the
role trees have played in shaping this story.
Well .... must be time for another cuppa me thinks.
Have a wonderful Sunday all whatever your plans - please take
care.
