Morning,
Really heavy showers here as forecast. Going to get pretty cold next few days they say but showing sunshine too.
Well done getting the cards all written FF. I have got mine all organised but not written yet. (maybe today)
Just realised it will soon be December and had a quick look at the Advents. Not been very organised with my comping, think I need a nice win to get me motivated. Seems to be so much going on at moment.
DD is going out with a MacMillan nurse today so doesn't need to travel as far but doesn't know the town she is going to so hope she finds the clinic ok. It is a town none of us really know very well although it is less than 20 miles away. Her bf is going on a blue light training course for 3 days which should be interesting! (Learing how to drive fire engine safely to an emergency)
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

:hello: Good morning everyone
It's a blustery start to the day here but still incredibly mild -
apparently we'll all be in for a brrrrrrr snap end of this week
and continuing into next week (so they say!).
My goodness fire**fly - you really brought back very fond
memories for me mentioning black bun cakes.I can
remember my mum always bringing black bun back from
her annual visit to Scotland - used to love it.
My family all love Christmas pud but we actually eat it on
Boxing Day with a dollop of cream. I can also recall my
Mum and Dad using up left over Xmas pud by frying slices in
butter and dipping them in castor sugar before consuming!
Not good for the figure but wonderful for the soul! :T
So pleased you had a brilliant evening on Saturday
Katie. :T Sounds as if you are going to be very busy in the
next few weeks. xxx
Have a lovely and lucky Monday all and please take care
whatever you have planned.

Ds has just paid a visit. Could I make some soup for GKs. (or him lol) Sent him off with a list to Asda so will be peeling and cutting veg in the morning. Lentils are soaking along with split peas and ham hough He is also off with four portions of mince and dumplings. So freezer may be a bit empty tomorrow if he helps himself to more lol. Love cooking but there are days when I cannot be bothered with it.0
