Morning. Pleased you were home safely despite weather Sheils. Sounds a very interesting trip. Sorry to hear about burglary in your Road. Seems to happen a lot this time of year. Your bargains made me think maybe we should plan a few days away. Meals sounded great.

Well done Wingo on your win. Enjoy spending. Totally agree with you about all the Christ,as hype. It used to be only supermarkets starting early now it's everywhere.

Afternoon peeps. I'm back lol. Have been a bit unwell and had two hospital stays. Hopefully on the mend now and fighting fit for Christmas. Will read back and see what everyone has been up to and winning. DS has been at sea again but only a 6 week stint. He arrived home last Wednesday. Must get stuck in to Christmas shopping (online) as I am usually well organised by this time but nothing has been bought at the moment.Will head out to the shops for things I need from there when I am feeling a bit stronger. Hope everyone is well. AAAAAAArg snow has just started here.

Well, wasn't expecting to be back on line this quickly!


I think my IP address was banned because I had been copying and
pasting (where hidden formatting may be contained :eek:) for the
Betty thread posts and genuinely didn't realize it was against forum
rules.

They have kindly advised that in future I use the "paste as plain
text" option or alternatively paste into notepad before copying onto
the forum.

Admin apologised for inconvenience - initially they thought it could
take up to 48 hrs to fix and with the weekend being so close - if it
wasn't fixed by Tuesday to get back in touch with them.

So ...big thanks to Admin. :T:T:T

Will catch up later - just popping over to the Betty thread.

Jesus just checked e/mail account. Over 15000 e/mails. Think I need a DS and route around to stop some of them. Off for fish and chips in a min. Ds and GS are coming for a visit to see I am ok. Can't convince them I am. GS says he wants some chips as well from chippy and a pickled onion.

did prepare some potatoes & veg earlier to have with
some of those simply salmon & dill parcels that you can
get from tesco so have put pots & veg in a bowl & will use
tomorrow
