Firefly...what does the plate look like..i'm expecting something cheesy espcially if it looked like it came in a pizza box ha ha.

    x

hiya mummy2threeboys lol.. must admit I was very
surprised that the plate is useable for serving food on & not a picnic type of plate :D
took this from the blurb about it
    http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/15543282._Royal_Bolton__plates_help_celebrate_Paddy_s_new_bingo_role/
"Everyone has a dream when they’re growing up and mine was definitely to have my very own commemorative plate. Who’d have thought people would be eating their pie and gravy off a plate with my face on it?"
And to celebrate the new royal appointment a Royal Bolton commemorative plate has been created — fresh from kilns somewhere near Bolton — of which only 5,000 are available.

    plate looks like this....

    :hello: Good morning everyone

I hope you're all well on this glorious Sunday. It's a
beautiful weather day here - dry & sunny but a little on
    the chilly side.

Did anyone watch the Royal British Legion Festival of
Remembrance yesterday evening? Its always a wonderful
tribute to all who have died in combat since World War
    One. :A

Your local church tree festival sounds delightful
mummy2threeboys - love the sound of everything they do
including allowing the trees to be taken at the end of the
festival (if people wish). I think that it's a wonderful idea
of yours to take one to decorate the local park - you really
are an angel. :A Absolutely wonderful family too. xx

:T Well done on winning the 'jackpotjoy commemorative
    plate' fire**fly! :T :D :j Paddy McGuinness is a brilliant
choice to follow on from Barbara Windsor - he's such a
    character! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday - take care.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been missing, its been a busy time here.

Mum2. Hope you get a diagnosis for your Son soon then at least you know how to help him. My GS has autism so I know how difficult it can be to come sometimes.

Has anyone else noticed that ofter the Daily mags don't send out WEM's the prizes just turn up? This is OK if they turn up but just wondering how many don't turn up that we don't know about.

Had a lovely celebration meal at an Indian Restaurant last night, about 40 people altogether so was a super family time.

Hope you are all keeping OK, can't believe we are so close to Christmas again.

Good luck everyone and hugs for anyone who needs one.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Hi Sylvia pleased to hear from you and that you are just busy. great to meet up with family.

yes, looks as though something may or may not turn up.

well done on plate win Firefly.
we have just come back from DSs rain overnight there and into the morning
    Sunny journey back.

Mummy2threeboys hope all goes well this next week. Its very difficult to find the right help. All ciildrens needs are different. Great that you and your husband are able to work together to help your son. we have had a few meltdowns with GKs at Lullingstone. Fortunately there usually arnt too many people there.

lets hope for a lucky week in the Inn. Keep warm.
  • Hi all my lovelys ..thanks for your kind words, I feel humble to have found a wonderful supportive forum online.

firefly..Thats a fun plate, at least he isn't too hard on the eye lol.

Loma how lovely for you, not often we get to do that sort of thing so must have been a special celebration loads of love xx

All 3 lads at Beevers/Cubs/Scouts parade, I always cry 60 million people died in ww2 alone , not including animals, I can't begin to imagine, we are so fortunate to have never gone through that and I pray we never will again. All those lives destroyed and families left behind.

After parade, they went to lay wreaths and I had time for coffee , cake and Christmas shopping ..plus wrapped up all the gifts I have so far Christmas is 80% done here woot, like I say I have to do it early because of anxiety one less thing to stress about,

It;s been a lovely weekend..fingers crossed for a load of fary dust for us all , much love to you xx

    good-morning_1778.gif

Another nice looking morning here but it is frosty.

Had a bit of a panic here the other day as there had been a mouse in the kitchen and bathroom. Didn't see or hear it. After investigating I found a small hole into the bathroom where a previous pipe had been so filled it up with toothpaste! They seemingly hate the smell of peppermint. Have got various things filled with toothpaste and peppermint flavouring in the places I saw droppings and so far no more signs. Fingers crossed as it has made me feel quite ill. Leanfun I hope you have got rid of yours.

Alfie have you seen your new GD yet? Hope she is still being good and doing well.

Great you are nearly sorted for Xmas mummy2threeboys. Haven't really thought that much about it as so many of my family have to work at Xmas (or live in Sydney) it can be a non event and will be worse when DD is a mental health nurse and working too. Remember when it was pandemonium though with 3 boys and a girl.

Glad you had a good time with the family Sylvia. Love Indian meals.

Did you get the shed cleaned out FF?

I have booked our usual Gatehead hotel for Sunday night so maybe buy a few Xmas things at the Metro Centre.
Hope everyone has a lucky week.

    Morning!

Hope you're all well. Was MIA most of the weekend as hubby was fishing (a well earned break for him), so I was solely in charge of the very inquisitive, and messy, 16 month old that is our DD! haha Tidying seems futile around her, though I did still try and achieved some measure of improvement in her room (clothes had piled up and now put away).

Was a bit rainy on Saturday, but we went for a walk to the supermarket and stopped off at the park on the way back. Not much in that park (closest one to us) for her age, but she just likes the freedom to run around outside. Burns off some energy. And yesterday her Nana came round, and then took us to swimming, where she had a great time again. We're getting a bit of a witching hour going on before bed now, between 6 and 7, where she is basically very tired already and becomes hyperactive and a bit of nightmare lol. Hoping it's a phase that passes.

Lovely and sunny here also, but frosty too. Still, I prefer that to rain!

Be lucky all, I am very, very far behind! lol

    xx
