I entered for my colleague who is an excellent and keen baker (she made my wedding cake, baby shower cake and DD's 1st B'day cake), and am going to surprise her with it when it arrives

I would never have had the expertise or patience to produce

Morning all,(only just..lol) I have been up a few hours but had to go out and get food shopping,so that's all done now.Weather here strange the sun is in and out the clouds but it's not cold out. Just going to put some washing out. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Well done on the wins leanfun and Euro - lovely presents.
Just thinking I don't have any wins stashed away for Xmas surprises this year. Usually have a few.

Been quite a nice day here. DD coming up for a roast dinner. It is the end of her placement for this week but she is working at the fish restaurant tomorrow night and Saturday. She is always so busy but at least she only has 4 days to travel to placement as they give her two long days but she doesn't get lunch breaks so gets home starving.
Anyone have any wins today?

Yes, we came home to a letter I've won an animal book for GS in Scotland. Must look it up from Primary Times.

We enjoyed our trip up to London for the John Bishop interview. He's very natural and we both enjoyed the afternoon. We had a walk around and had a pleasant meal in a pub. DH said his food was good but mine was just ok. Bit disappointing as we have eaten there before and it was good.

Everything was very Christmasee up town. Lots of gold and red. Lights in Regent street in on yet.

No wins for me today, but I am very behind with my comps as I have been studying instead. I am pleased to say though, that I passed my exam earlier this afternoon I won't get the breakdown and score for another couple of weeks, but pass rate is 70% so that is the minimum I scored.


Wahoo! One more exam to do to get my diploma. It's a written one this time, in January! Eek!
