Morning peeps. Lovely bright cooler morning here. Why is Jeremy Kyle presenting Good Morning Britain? Have not decided what I will get up to today. whether to go out or stay in . Will decide later lol. Hope everyone is well. Fingers crossed for some wins for everybody.

I hope you're all well on this glorious Monday morning! Well,
it's a 'glorious' weather day at the mo - not sure how long it will
last though!

Finally managed to finish all the cutting up of branches
yesterday and ended the day with a quick mow and tidy up
of the lawn edgings too. Happy days!

Evening peeps. Had two guests for dinner . Ds phoned me at lunch time to ask what I was having for dinner (I go in to mind reading mode lol) So asked him what he wanted and he said whatever you are having. Told him to tell his naval collegue that I would cook for him as well. So we had chicken casserole and new potatoes and apple crumble, cream and ice cream. It was delicious even though I say so myself:D They are now off to play nine holes of golf and walk it off:D Family all arrived in Germany safe and well and are pleased to see cousins and Aunt:)

Good evening all, sorry I have been missing but we are at DD' looking after all her pets for the week and the internet is really c**p here so finding other things to do for the week LOL.

Congratulations Rat Girl on the birth of your baby boy, so glad everything went OK and you have at last got the baby you longed for. Take care.

Will try and catch up again, but we are all OK.

Our internet is rubbish lately too Sylvia. Virgin are supposed to have boosted speed but it seems worse. The neighbours have some sort of device on their roof near ours so I'm sure it has something to do with it.

Love the frog pics Alfie! My dad's pond has the pink frogs in it and they are so lovely!

Hope the family enjoy Germany Rose Some beautiful places there.

Sorry I'm not popping in as much, real life a bit hectic at the minute! I did win what I think is a picnic blanket though! I was browsing through asda mag and saw a text comp 'adopt a cow' and I just saw 300 prizes and entered. I got a text next day to say I won! I think I remember it being a picnic blanket so happy with a win anyway!

Good Morning all,

We are home now and trying desperately to get organised! When we left we took DS3 to train station so his room is just as he left it too ie needing cleaned , hoovered and bed changed. Got over a weeks washing to do too plus pile of towels from before we left. Just hope weather stays dry. Had a load out last night and minutes before I was going to bring them in we had a downpour - typical!
Had a lovely time. Really enjoyed The Black Country Museum, West Midlands Safari Park and visiting Birmingham for the first time. We also went to some NT and English Heritage properties , Cosford RAF Museum, climbed The Wrekin and visited some places DH went to as a child.

Have been trying to keep up with everyone. You have all been busy.
Well done to the winners and good luck everyone else.
Must get on.

Welcome back sheils, good luck with the washing. Hope it stays dry for you. It's not looking good here they have said heavy showers for the day so won't bother putting washing out. I have had a busy couple of days at work but not working till tomorrow afternoon now so time to catch up with everything. Hope you all have a lucky day.
