Rosemac At least your neighbour was able to borrow a fan before buying one - a good idea in case it didn't work! :)

Good Morning everyone. Bit cloudy again here this morning but it seems to be breaking up. So maybe get some sunshine today. Do not think it is cold as saw mr Mr Royal Mail heading out at 5am and he only had his polo shirt and gilet on. Will head over to newsagents in about 30 mins when it opens and test out and see how warm it is this morning. Don't know what I am going to get up to today. GK's are going to the cinema with DS and are then going shopping for ingredients for Grans Pizzas. There is an open day tomorrow at the Fire Station and if DS and DIL can't be bothered taking GS (He is fascinated with Fire Engines and Police Cars) I will go up and collect him and bring him down. Hope everyone is well. Be lucky.

    :hello: Hi everyone

I have the same weather here too fire**fly - just how I
    like it! :D

Had a very productive time in the garden yesterday - really
got stuck in with sorting out shrubs etc and getting rid of
the ones that have grown rather big over the years .... so
out came my trusty saw :p and the deed is almost
complete - but there's a couple more yet that I've got my
    beady eyes on!

Will spend this afternoon cutting the pile of branches up
    to a reasonable size.

A froggie was lurking under one of the shrubs too -
beautifully camouflaged. He actually stayed put while I
was working away so I had a little chat with him. :p I will
pop out in a mo and see if he's still there! :D

The open day at the Fire Station sounds brilliant for your
    GS rose. :T

Good luck with the herb drying and jarring today
    fire**fly.

Lol! I was looking for a funny gardening pic and came across
    this ....

    you get up to. :)

Just had a phone call from GS he his sister, mum, gran and great gran are of to Germany on Monday morning to see his cousins and aunt. His uncle died at the tail end of last year and they have not seen them since the funeral. They are coming back Thursday night as DIL could only get Wednesday off and has to work on Friday. Gran and Great Gran are staying on. They managed to get a great deal on flights for the three off them. In fact the cost is only a few pounds more than it is for the flight off either their gran or g/gran. They still have some euros left from holiday so will be ok for spending money lol.

Morning everyone. Looks as if it is going to be a nice day here. DS is bringing GS down to Fire Station to let DIL get ready and packed for tomorrow mornings trip to Germany. GD is no problem she can amuse herself with her crafting. She loves it. She makes little felt animals and she is pretty good at it. Hope everyone is healthy and well.
