Went out for a walk and get a few things I needed from Boots and ended up coming back after five minutes to take off my jacket and jumper and putting on a t-shirt to head back out again. Could not believe how warm it had got.

I have just been laughing my head off for the las 40 or so minutes. Went out to put rubbish out and one off my neighbours was putting up a tent. I thought he was checking it because he was going away. So asked him where he was going. Nowhere at all he was putting it up to sleep in tonight as he has had very little sleep last two nights because of the heat. Must say our building is sandstone and holds heat like nothing else. The walls are very thick. Offered him a loan of a fan so he is going to try that first but if it does not work he is outside. lol :rotfl:

Morning all. Bit dull and overcast here again. Hopefully it will be sunny again in the afternoon like it has been most of the week. Was asked this morning by another neighbour who the tent belonged to as she thought someone had set it up and moved in lol. Told her what happened last night and she went off chuckling. Don't know yet if he slept in it or not as he leaves around 5am he works for the Royal Mail Service. Hope I find everyone well. Good luck for today with comps and wins.

Evening peeps. Not been very nice here today. Been cloudy all day although it is still warm. Had some rain about an hour ago. Had a visit from a nice policeman who brought me a new USB stick for my security system as they are keeping mine. So I take it they found something on it. Neighbour phoned me down to see if everything was ok and I had not been up to something I shouldn't have:D cheeky mare:D She is baking again tonight so I am getting a couple of large fresh cream meringues which will be gratefully received:) Have fan back mr Royal Mail bought himself one today. He said mine worked a treat lol. so no tent for him last night.
