Morning.
Before we went to bed we saw something had happened in Manchester but didn't know what. It's dreadful news. Youngsters and their parents. Words fail. Thoughts and prayers with all those involved.
So pleased to hear you have a new job McCulloch well done.

Morning everyone
Terrible to wake up this morning to hear of the tragic event that happened in Manchester last night. My thoughts are with all affected by this.
Congratulations on the new job McCulloch & hope that you manage to complete the form - the Citizens Advice can help.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

It's so devastating what happened in Manchester last night.
I was reading about the commotion before I went to bed and it was first thought that a speaker had blown but was tragic to read this morning what really happened. DD2 was quite upset earlier as her old gymnastics friend had posted about going to the concert and video'd some of the concert on social media and she hasn't heard anymore from her. DD is at gymnastics now but I really hope she gets to hear from her friend when she's home. It's just barbaric.
Your DD is doing really well in uni SheilsThey stopped paying the bursary here a couple of years ago and you have to pay for course now too. It's a lot different to when I started it.
Good luck on your new job McCulloch and hope you've caught up with all your paperwork.
Lol fire**fly/Rose...that crusty soup made me chuckle!I am always getting my words mixed up but it's worse when I get my kids names mixed up or call my son Jasper!
Well everyone out at the minute so it's nice having the house to myself for a while.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Hi everyone, terrible news, thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved. Hope you DD's friend is OK Wingo.
Congatulations on your new job McCullock and hope it all goes well.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Thanks for the good wishes. I stayed up very, very late last night, unable to comprehend what had happened in Manchester and it was a good five minutes after waking before I was able to recall that I'd had an email offering me a new job.
Thanks 3forholidays, I am very fortunate to have access to some excellent advice on PIP form completion, this in itself guarantees nothing, but I have focused on the effects of my disabilities on my daily life. I did all my own claim for DLA in 2009 and was successful in being awarded higher rate mobility.
Zero for care back then, although my disabilities are significantly more severe now and I would hope for standard rate care.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Morning peeps. Not very nice here today. Looks as if it has been raining all night. Going to head of to gym this morning to do a pilates class. Need to give muscles a good stretch. Hope everyone is well. Be lucky.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all ok.It was a beautiful weather day here

(I think) ending up in a scorcher.
To be honest it was so hot yesterday that I retreated
indoors and settled down to take up curtains for my daughter -
I've always loved to sew. Used to do so much more when
the kids were younger, felt good to be using my sewing
machine again.
Very well done on your new job as an online English Instructor
