:hello: Hi everyone
Hope you're all ok on yet another glorious weather
day.
It's sunny and fairly warm with a gentle breeze - just
how I like it!
I can remember when you won your beautiful bedroom
makeover leanfun - absolutely gorgeous with very restful
colours.
I also watched BGT yesterday and loved the lad singing
Hallelujah. :T
Also thought 'The Pensionaires' were absolutely
brilliant. :T
'Hot choc fudge, ice cream & caramel volcano and a
latte' sounds like heaven to me wingo!
all ...
have a lovely rest of the day and take care.

Still dull here today. Thought it was going to rain but no sign of it yet. Neighbour phoned me down she is baking today and did I want a bit of apple tart or rhubarb. Said either so I am getting a bit of both. Have got soup in slow cooker so told her to bring down a pot when she is done with her cakes/tarts and she and hubby can have some. Thinking I am just going to have a soup/pudding day today so must nip to shop and get some ice cream and a couple of crusty rolls.0

I loved the pensionaires too Alfie, at their age they were amazing!
Been glorious here too fire**fly despite supposedly gonna thunder and lightening! Hope it stayed nice for you too
I love crusty rolls Rose especially with soup.
Sylvia, sounds like a productive day you've had, hope you got some quiet time for yourself
Leanfun, hope you've also had a good day with GS xx
Sheils, I'm ashamed to say I did eat all the ice cream to myself! plus I didn't spill any either! I might even go again on Saturday!
I've been filling in lots of forms for DD going into secondary school. There's loads to sign for now. The school is more expensive for uniforms, dinners, bus fares and she has to pay £38 for a locker too but hopefully it will be better education than my other two have had!
Just realised the time why am I always wide awake this time of night!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
morning peeps. Quite bright here this morning. Managed to sleep until 5.30am yaaaaaaayso feeling a bit brighter this morning. Have a few things to do today so will be popping in and out. Hope everyone is well. Take care those who are not. Have a lucky day comping.0

Ho Rose I was awake about 5,30 too.
It was also very hot and sunny here yesterday. GS and I made it to the park. it's on a big hill and he decided to walk the long way round and then up to play area. We could see loads of people he decided there were 36. In fact I've never seen the play area so full. Someone told me the area the other side of park had a week's festival. The park has a community gardens and that was teeming with people having picnics. They were so lucky with the weather as Saturday had so many showers.
We went to the shops the other side of park and had icecream. Not as good as yours though Wingo.
Wingo any amount of cost is better than your DD2 not having to go to that dreadful school.
Hope you had a restful day Sylvia.
Sunny again this morning. Let's hope for a lucky week in the Inn.0 -

Gosh been busy in here already.
Got caught up with DD last night, she has been so busy with her placement and trying to work in restaurant too as well as do assignments.
She has passed all her exams and assignments first time round so is really pleased with herself and will have 4 weeks off after this week as she has nothing to redo or resit. She will then have another 6 week placement and a 4 week holiday (which will be working in the restaurant!) Then that is her 1st year over. Didn't realise what a hard time student nurses had no wonder so many drop out, but at least Scotland still pays them a grant.
Must try and get some comps done now.
Good luck everyone.
