    Good Morning,

I was waken quite early this morning as sun was blazing in the window.
At least we don't have to wait on the sun today - took a while to come out yesterday. Haven't finished planting all my pansies yet as I have to watch my back and have had a sore shoulder too so been sitting on the grass while I plant them! DH has been sorting out other bits of the garden which are getting overgrown.Think house and garden are too big for us know really but can't think about selling the family home after 35 years of living here. The kids would be furious if we did.

Hope you get to the beach wingo. Tempted ourselves but had better do some more gardening before our next break.

Sylvia, have a lovely time away with all your family, you deserve it.

Wish I could get a tan rose. My skin is just too fair I think. DD is the same, she has given up and uses fake tan.

Sounds like you are going to be busy again leanfun. Well done on the tickets. Hope you enjoy the play. Ages since we went to anything.

Well done on the freebie FF. I got one too.

Alfie , hope you are having fun with the dogs.

    Hope everyone is well.

Just the luck of the draw shiels whether we tan or not. Sister has very fair skin and does not tan. But she does get freckles which she hates. Keep telling her if she spends enough time in the sun then maybe she would get enough for them to join up then she would look like she had a tan lol. Got that freebie of ultrasun as well ff.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Phew! It's very warm here - love the sun but not so keen on
    the muggy feel.

It's lovely outside, bit of a gentle breeze too but the house is
fairly warm so I've got all the windows/doors open to try and
    get some air circulating. :p

Ouch for your DS wingo and the nettle patch! Bet he was
feeling a tad uncomfortable after his encounter.

Have a lovely time at the beach with your kids later - I should
think it'll be fairly busy - I love the beach local to me - the
sea breeze is always very welcome in the warm weather
except I tend to come back looking like a lobster!

Well done managing to get tickets for a play at a theatre
local to you leanfun. :T Pleased to hear that you're almost
back to normal now health wise. Sorry to hear that your DS
picked up impetigo but brilliant that it was caught early
enough and the antibiotics are working well.

Have a wonderful day Laks! :j xxx

Well done on all the freebies received ladies! :T

Thinking about comps ..... really must try to play catch up
cos already way behind again! :p

I've got a couple of Acer trees in the garden sheils and very
beautiful they are too. Glorious coloured foliage (both
different) - and they make for a stunning display. :grinheart

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care. Got a
very annoying Bluebottle buzzing about in here at the mo so
going to chase him out with my feather duster. :D

Morning peeps. Another bright sunny one here. Was out most of yesterday and fell asleep on the couch from about 4pm till 6.30 as I was exhausted with the heat. Got home around 3.30pn so didn't take long to be in the land of nod. Going to try and get as much as I can get done this morning as this house really holds the heat even with the windows open. So will probably get a relaxer chair out later and have a bit of a sun bathe while I am doing comps. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine.

Lovely and sunny here again. Been so enjoying the sun but so tiring walking and gardening in it. For the first time in years it was too hot upstairs in our bedroom. Should really think about sleeping downstairs when it is like this but it happens so seldom. Thought it was supposed to rain today but don't see anything about it on the weather app now.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the weather and has a lovely Bank holiday.

lol shiels know what you mean about walking. That is why I fell asleep. I walked for hours yesterday getting things done that I had put off. Feet and legs are a bit sore today.

Morning, we had a thunder storm here at 4.30. Lasted less than an hour but lit the sky up and every room in the house. Then it rained heavy, the rain has eased now but hopefully the storm has cleared the air now. It was getting too hot i think they said some places were 29 yesterday.I was at work at it was like a sauna, got today off so going to relax as working again tomorrow.Hope you all have a good weekend.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

After an extremely muggy night woke up to distant rumblings
of thunder along with a weeny splash of the wet stuff which was
no good to man, beast or land! :p

My house is soooo warm - especially upstairs - luckily it
doesn't seem to be disturbing my sleep that much.

Have had to put quite a bit of gardening on hold at the mo cos
the ground is absolutely rock hard .... and ..... I caught the
doglets last night/early this morning scoffing off the bird seed
that had fallen on the grass - greedy blighters! :D Anyone would
think that I'm starving them! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Talking of doggies - I'd best go and see what they're up
to now - it's suspiciously quiet for my liking! :p

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care
whatever you decide to do. :)

Sun has disapeared here and it is quite overcast but really warm. Hope it puts in an appearance later as neighbour has got BBQ out and I quite fancy an evening in the courtyard with food and a little tipple.
