Latest report is that fat and extremely underweight people are less likely to be given a job, because interviewers are biased/prejudiced/whatever.
I try not to judge people on my first impressions of them- but I always fail, so when we see a lipring ona young guy, or a man's name tattooeds on a woman's arm no matter how hard I try, I form an impression.Yes, it's prejudiced, but I think it's part of the human instinct to work out whether that fellow human is from the same tribe as me, or not, as the case may be!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

That's me. Had a small one done at 35, top of my thigh, so it rarely gets seen, if ever. It is personal to me and I love it and it won't matter how old I get. Glad I did it.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -

By using an obvious extreme (the fully tatooed head of a man) as an example as you did - that is an opinion is it not? Or merely disingenious?
By presenting stats - which indicate trends not truths, as facts - that is expressing an opinion is it not? I didn't see an

I've come this far through life without the need to "express myself" with body art and I've never been a keen following of fads and fashions, so I don't think I'll bother.
I was brought up to believe all actions had consequences and have always lived by that.
In respect to others though, it IS purely a matter of choice. A lot of people DO get them for a spiritual reason, some have them to be fashionable and later regret their actions.
Some tattoos will be more tasteful than others......
Dont make your mind up from other peoples views, If you want one have it done.

I know I'm a little late coming into this, but can I ask Stamford et al, what is it about the subject of tattoos that makes you so rude?
Ok, you don't like them, we sorta got the point, but why do you all constantly feel that you can't just say no, I don't like them...you have to refer to 'slag tags' or 'tramp stamps' or indeed; 'chavs'?

Each decision we make can influence our future physical and mental health as well as our financial wellbeing.
We are not allowed to give medical advice on this forum and as you will have seen from previous links of mine encouraging people to have tattoos can have adverse health implications so should not be encouraged in a forum where medical advice is NOT permitted. It seems strange to me that if I encourage people to take Vitamin d to lower their cancer risk the post is likely to be deleted whereas posts which may result in people becoming MRSA carriers are permitted.
