Where are the damn traffic police to enforce stupidity?
I do agree - it is dangerous and I will definitely learn my lesson

My son is a police officer. If he pulled every mobile phone user over he would never get anything else done. He often bangs on a window and rollocks them. He's usually on a shout to somewhere else at the time. He does book them when possible. Motorway police have been cut by two thirds along with the frontline police. Hence my son never getting a break all shift and almost always single manned. They are leaving in droves.0

Really sorry to hear this. We need the police force, it's just so important. Thanks for your input. Hope he's ok. It did shake me up - it was the banging/gesticulating.0 -
The hysteria following operation Yewtree with (usually long dead) !!!!!s lurking in every shadow has died down a bit.
Similarly the present mobile phone bogeyman hysteria will get replaced with something else in due course that the righteous cult will then be jumping up and down about, busy little bees the righteous ones.
No nuns carrying baskets of kittens were hurt.0 -

No nuns carrying baskets of kittens were hurt.

Slight exagerration, perhaps? Police numbers have fallen over the last 10 years, but only by about 9%..0 -

He's claiming motorway police cut buy two thirds, where have you got 9% from?0 -
Only 9%? that's a huge number. Consider then how many they are recruiting to stop this fall and its still 9%, this means we now probably have a very inexperienced force. Bit like our armed forces at the moment.0

They got rid of a load of experience when the coalition government came to power. All because Cameron was snubbed as a junior minister.0
